You all hooked me up with the coolest officiant, a unique venue, a bouquet, and even some fun surprises I didn't expect. Pop The Knot started when Michele Velazquez, owner of the world-renowned Marriage Proposal Planning company The Heart Bandits, began to receive a lot of inquiries for pop-up weddings, microweddings, and New York City elopements. The brides didn't want a boring courthouse wedding, they were asking for unique venues like rooftops, art galleries, private gardens, etc.

My husband and I planned our wedding in less than a year during 2021. From the beginning, Michele was helpful and answered all of our questions. Overall, she helped us create a day that we'll never forget and we're forever grateful for her. With Michele's help, we added a violinist, upgraded the bouquet, and added floral arrangements to the aisle chairs. The violinist was great, as was the general ceremony set up, and officiant. This review is mostly about my unfortunate experience with the floral arrangements.

My husband and I had been dreading planning our wedding for over 5 years since we got engaged. Then in late 2019, we finally decided to plan something very small/intimate with our closest family/friends. Still I was dreading the whole planning process. We used pop the knot for our intimate wedding in June, and we worked with Michele to help us plan it all. Wow! The whole experience start to finish was phenomenal.
We wanted something special but small, and Michele and team were wonderful helping us coordinate an officiant, photographer and florist, etc. She answered all of our questions and more (and always in a timely manner) and coordinated with us every step of the way, so it was really smooth sailing.
We had no stress at all leading up to the ceremony--there was little work or planning needed on our end. It really helped us put the focus

My husband and I knew we wanted a small, intimate wedding, but we weren't sure where to start. We knew we wanted to get married close to where we lived in Southern California and outdoors, but that was about it. After doing a little research, I stumbled upon Pop The Knot. We saw all of the beautiful venue options and decided on the beach. After submitting our request, Michele got back to us that day! We worked through a couple details, but Michele handled pretty much everything for us. The ceremony was absolutely perfect and the entire process was virtually stress free. Happy is such an understatement

We contacted Michele while I (the bride) was in London and my fiance was in NY. Michele worked with us from beginning to end as we were going through a tricky visa process. Despite all the hurdles, Michele and her amazing team managed to secure our location complete with permit and on the day of our wedding, all we had to do was turn up and watch all the trusted contractors that work with Michele show up. From the photographer, to the florist and the officiant...everything ran like clockwork and they were all so friendly and professional. Not once did we feel the pressure that most people feel

If I could give this 6 stars, I would. After enduring a lot of family drama trying to plan a more "traditional" wedding, my now husband and I pulled a "f#%k it!" and decided to downsize significantly. We were considering courthouse nuptials with only his grandmother when I stumbled upon Pop the Knot through some series of google searching. The experience from start to finish working with Michele was amazing. Michele was on top of every detail and supportive of what we were looking for - and come to find out, she was VERY pregnant and her due date was on my wedding date!

Pop The Knot is the business to use if you're looking to have a beautiful, all inclusive wedding at a great price. We used them for our wedding on May 13 in NYC. Michele was very helpful in answering all of my questions and helping us choose the perfect location. All of her vendors (photographer, videographer, florist, officiant, violinist) also did amazing work. It truly was the best day we could have asked for. Thank you!

We're so glad we came across Pop The Knot while searching for an elopement package. We chose NYC as our location. Being somewhat of a local, the venue choices are quintessential NYC. The team we worked with - planner, photographer, venue, florist and violinist were professional with start up feel which allowed some flexibility, i.e. we chose our own officiant for our wedding (by the way, we love our officiant!). The combination of it all was simply memorable and we are so grateful for making our wedding special. To the team at Pop The Knot, thank you for the work you've pulled together

Discovering Pop The Knot was the single best thing we have done this year. My husband and I decided we wanted to elope in Central Park and once the decision was made, we were in a hurry!
