I had a bad experience getting a massage some time ago that soured me from massages for years. I was feeling like I needed some much-needed self-care and decided to try again. Ann Marie is awesome. I've been going on a monthly basis the last few months and she's quickly picked up on tight spots and injuries in my body. (I get headaches and neck/back pain from sitting at a desk and exercise. I also have a few old knee injuries that flair up.) She's also giving me insight and tips on how to care for myself between sessions which is super helpful. I feel like I'm finally on the path to getting some long-term relief from issues that have bothered me for years. Thanks, Ann Marie!

I sought out massage therapy due to my physically intensive job causing a fair bit of chronic pain. The experience was great start to finish. The space is easy to find and very cozy. As it was my first visit we spent about 20 minutes beforehand discussing goals of treatment, specific concerns, etc, which is not an experience I've had at other places. She really listened and devised a treatment method that really worked for my body. I was leary of massage because of some negative experiences, but after talking with Ann Marie, I felt comfortable enough to try again with her. I'm so glad I did! She listened and took to heart everything I had communicated that was associated with the past experiences, and won me over with her determination to make me feel better and to give me a positive experience. I highly recommend Ann Marie for massage therapy services. She was extremely communicative and organized throughout the booking process. The massage itself was incredible- safety and comfort were clearly a priority for her throughout the process and she took wonderful care of me. I walked in feeling so sore and stiff and emerged feeling so much more limber and relaxed. The space itself is immaculately clean and Ann Marie uses minimalist/organic products during the massage. I will definitely be back soon!

Ann Marie is a great therapist, she has strong hands, she understands where are the problem areas in your body and works her magic on them.
She is very courteous, calm and understanding, she listens to your preferences in very detail and always take care of them during the sessions.
She is quick to respond and has a calming energy and space, it is clean and well equipped.

Ann Marie is wonderful at what she does. She makes your massage a priority and never fails to provide a relaxing and effective environment! What's great is that you can ask for a relaxation massage or deep tissue massage and she will adjust to what you need appointment to appointment. I have seen many massage therapists over the years, and I think that she is the best so far. I highly recommend her services!

I have so enjoyed every experience I've had with Ann Marie! I've gotten massages and cupping done by her, and both were so helpful and healing! As a dancer and someone who works a lot on their feet and exercises a lot, I often have a lot of tightness and soreness in my body, and Ann Marie's massages helped me tremendously. I've started a standing monthly appointment and I'm super excited to keep coming back!
She's a lovely masseuse and a lovely human as well. She can make anyone feel comfortable and at ease. I highly recommend her!

Ann Marie is excellent! I get massages often and know a good massage therapist, and Ann Marie is definitely it! She has strong hands and knows how to give a proper deep tissue--not all therapists do! She asks what your preferences are beforehand and modifies to your liking. I will definitely continue to support her and looking forward to my next appointment!

I had my first massage with Ann Marie last week, and let me tell you, I feel like a whole new person! I rely heavily on massage work to keep my body in working condition, as I've been in the beauty industry for the past 20 years and I've had hundreds of massages. This massage was definitely in my top five of ALL TIME. I had a terrible overuse injury in my thumb and Ann Marie not only addressed the thumb, but all of the connective muscles that could be exacerbating the issue. I flew into town for a wedding and knew I would be a miserable guest if I didn't solve this recurring shoulder pain that kicks up every few months - that thing that always knots up under the wing bone, impossible to stretch, seems to affect every part of your back. Ann Marie has been my massage therapist for over 3 years and there is no one like her. Truly! She listens to what my needs are and pays attention. She has been the only massage therapist who is so attuned to my needs on the massage table that she knows what part of my body needs special attention before I can even tell her. When I was pregnant she treated me with compassion, kindness and care that all expectant mothers deserve. In fact, she gave me the most wonderful massage two days before my baby entered the world. She helped me get my body and mind ready for labor.

I was referred to Ann Marie a few years ago by a friend, and I haven't gone to another massage therapist since. I work all day on my feet so commonly have a lot of back pain, and I tend to hold all my stress in my neck and shoulders. Ann is hands down the best massage therapist I've ever been treated by. My sore back and I am thrilled (and relieved) that she practicing in Chicago again!

Ann Marie is a therapist's therapist. I've been doing deep tissue massage for years and am very picky about who I get massages from, because people can rarely go as deep as I'd like. I absolutely recommend Ann Marie- her pressure is INTENSE in the best way. She knows when to really dig in and when it's better to back off. To top it off, her fun and hilarious personality distracts you from the pain, and seeing her is like hanging out with a good friend who just happens to be giving a killer massage.
