Services
Here at Crossroads we run a child centered program, which means that each child is seen as an individual, with unique and individual talents and needs. The teacher's role is to nourish those talents and provide a learning environment that meets those needs. The teacher prepares the classroom and plans the activities so that the children are able to choose appropriate activities to meet their developmental needs.
Detailed policy & procedures. You need to read and understand this document as it details daily routines and working procedures of the preschool. Defines the BC Crossroads Preschool non-profit corporation entity, membership, & leadership. Changes to this document require a vote of the membership. Higher level operational rules.
For the convenience of parents with younger children, we offer a parent-run sibling care co-op. This is a separate entity from and operates independently of BC Crossroads Co-op Preschool. The sibling care is located on-site, in a room off of the Preschool's main room. Parents participate in the sibling co-op by sharing duties of child care during the time your child is in preschool.

We have been at Crossroads Co-Op for three years with two kids. We love this school. My oldest was very prepared for Kindergarten by this school. My youngest who will be done at the end of this school year is also ready for Kindergarten and has enjoyed the child driven activities that taught her the beginnings of math and writing and that science is all around her.

We currently have my child attending the BC Crossroads preschool. We will be there next year as well. This is a great place to participate in your child's early learning education in a meaningful way while creating a community for yourself as well.
We love the teacher, Maura. She forms a great bond with each child.
We have best experiences learning in this play based program. My child loves freedom to chose the activities that suits her best. Love that they get to play outside on the playground nearly everyday.
