Services
Meet Jenny Tan, the head of school at Eastside Children's Academy. Originally from Shanghai, China, Jenny moved to the U.S. in the early 1990's where she met her husband, and they began to grow their family and careers. In addition to being a very involved owner, Jenny also volunteers within the community for local schools, the PTSA, Bellevue Club Swim Team, and the Bellevue High School Swim Team.
A typical day offers small group, large group and individual learning activities, meal time, quiet time and outdoor and indoor gym play. Outdoor play in the fresh air contributes to a child's good health and overall development. The children will have daily outdoor play (weather permitting), even during the colder months (above 32° F).
A non-refundable registration fee of $150 (per child) is due upon registration, and is not applied to the tuition. In addition, ECA charges a security deposit which is equal to one (1) month of your child's agreed tuition. The security deposit will guarantee that your child's enrollment spot will be held until they begin.

ECA and Ms Wendy have been a godsend for our son. We took a while to eventually decide to get him into a daycare due to the pandemic, so he's never really been in a social setting for any extended period of time. Ms Wendy was extremely patient and diligent in transitioning him into the classroom, and it feels like a great partnership between her, ECA, and us.
The facility and their professionalism are absolutely top-notch, but more importantly this is a daycare that we really trust. It's not easy to simply send our child to full-time care without wondering about how it may turn out, but through

I cannot praise ECA enough. My daughter has been attending ECA since the beginning of this year and she loves it. All of the teachers are thoughtful and wonderful. We always have the opportunity to have a conference with them to get updates or discuss any of our concerns. The schedule is very reliable and well suited for working parents. Breakfast and lunch provided. The staff's overall competence was demonstrated during Covid, when they quickly developed a plan to reconfigure the school, without compromising safety or education. They have been super adaptable to these changing times. Great school

Our 2 years old daughter has been going to this school for around 6 months now, we are extremely happy with the school. First of all, they use the best of technologies: parents are allowed to access classroom cameras, there is also daily report system available with details of the activities of your kids, they also use fingerprint to login. Secondly, each classroom are very well organized, there is enough activities and learning throughout the day. Thirdly, the teachers are very well trained. Most of the teachers came from BH. Given the tuition fees are much lower here, I believe this is a much

I am so happy we found Eastside Children’s Academy! My daughter started just after she turned 1 and I was a little nervous how she would do in a daycare setting since she had only been watched by family members. The ECA community was warm, welcoming and loving and she quickly adjusted. She’s now in the toddler classroom with Ms. Trejo and I am so happy with all of the fun and educational activities she gets to participate in. She recently had her first Chinese lesson!
All of the teachers and staff are friendly and welcoming, and they really care about my daughter and family. The cherry on

Eastside Children’s just opened in 2019 but we could not have been happier with our experience here. Our son, who is 17 months old at the time of this review, has flourished with the excellent care and development he has received from his teachers and the school lead, Jenny.

This place is a hidden gem! My kid was having a lot of cry when we started to go to daycare. Initially we went to another highly-rated(also expensive) franchise daycare center at Bellevue downtown. The rules were very strict there and teachers were not very caring. I heard about ECA from a friend so we decided to give it a try. My kid started from the older infant class (12month-18month) and got a lot of hugs from Miss Tanya. The little one quickly bounded with Tanya and stopped crying at the time of drop off. In this class, parents are encouraged to bring milk/formula and home made food. The teacher

ECA has been an amazing experience for my child and me! The teachers are exactly what I was looking for – they are compassionate, energetic, creative, patient and extremely knowledgeable about child development and parenting. The school is bright and cheery and offers learning through creative play and interaction. This place sets an example for all daycares & preschools. It is managed by friendly and professional staff. The facility is clean and all the toys and equipment are well organized. Leaving my kid behind during the day is painful, but it feels good he is in the right hands.

Our son has been going to ECA since May 2019 and we couldn't be happier. The teachers at ECA take special care and he has bonded so well with all of them. He enjoys his time at the classes so much that he is all smiles when he is taken to the daycare in the morning. The daycare has continuous video feed from the classroom that we use to check in on him from time to time. He is a picky eater and the teachers take good care of him by giving him alternatives if he doesn't eat the main meals.
