Austins Ocean One
We are a full service catering company offering many options for on and off premise catering. Austin's is the on site caterer for private events at beautiful Brookgreen Gardens. Additionally, at our Litchfield Inn location we offer a private dining area. Overall maybe the best meal of the year for us in our 2019 visit to the Pawleys Island area.

The veal chop special was out of this world. Lisa's said her salmon dish was one of the best meals she had on the trip. Ocean views add to the great experience we had to Austin's. We'll be back!

Three people, two Cokes, a Cobb salad, and two Penne Shrimp entrees were $71. Seemed a bit pricey for 3 p.m. and microwaved food. Otherwise, I can’t endorse or criticize the place.

I am staying here while searching for a home in the area. The food was good, simple, but good. However, the service was some of the worst i have ever had. I ordered a split of cava and it was cava i have had at many restaurants. But after my first drink, i was told that was it. I have had this split many times and know how much there is in it. The server even told me she couldnt bring the rest because glass was not allowed in the area. But later there was none left.

Next came the ice cream debacle. When my 85 year old mother asked for a scoop of ice cream it took nearly 20 minutes to arrive

While the food is fantastic, their tipping policy is a bit obscure. Wine Wednesday's attract a large crowd. What is not known to the public is that the tip is calculated off of the original pricing. When questioned, the manager stated that you are made aware of this before selecting the tip percentage. However, you are handed the table side credit card machine AFTER this notification is listed. While they may feel this practice is okay, I ask you to think about this.... Isn't this the equivalent of EVERY restaurant that hosts a happy hour demanding the tip off of the non-happy hour prices

I'm hesitant to review this restaurant because I think it's still a little bit of a secret. I may be wrong though as they are booking three weeks out at this point. The view and the food are exceptional. If you can't get a reservation here, try their sister restaurant downstairs, cabana cafe, it doesn't disappoint either.

To start- I was very confused by the parking, there were signs everywhere outside the hotel saying you will be towed if you park there. We weren't aware that it was actually in the hotel. Second, for lack of a better way to say it, it felt like the place was trying to be fancy but clearly wasn't (as our view was the hotel pool through a somewhat dirty window). The drinks were good and the menu had many options- but the service rubbed me the wrong way. We came from getting apps elsewhere so we just got drinks (2 each might I add) and shared some more apps. We could tell our waitress was

Good food but they often forget parts of your order...I would suggest eating in the restaurant and not picking it up to go because they will most likely forget something and charge you for it anyway

Ate at the cafe below the restaurant. Sat outside and felt very comfortable.
The angry mac n cheese is delicious. We also enjoyed the homemade hushpuppies. Fried grouper was good.

Food was great. Pistachio encrusted black grouper was served on a bed of risotto and was outstanding! Sea bass over cous-cous was very tasty. Took some time to prepare but we were not in a hurry. Drinks, salads and deserts were good as well!

I am a long time visitor at the Litchfield Inn. The hotel that houses Austin's. We had dinner here during our vacation there a week ago. What a great first night dinner. It all started when we met our server Dixie. What a wonderful server and delightful person. She has worked with the resto for years and works in many capacities but she made the amazing meal even better. We had a fried green tomato stack appetizer which we shared. The tomato's were Layered with goat cheese and was great. I had a pan fried lobster over pasta. My wife had the grouper served with risotto. The meals were

Unbelievable meal at Austin's last night. Crab cake appetizer, Sea bass entree and ring of fire (shrimp and scallops) were all fantastic. The service was also spot on. Great view of the beach too. I highly recommend dinner at Austins.

We have been here 3 times now and have had a great experience every time. This is the pool restaurant of the Oceanfront Litchfield Inn.

I highly recommend anything with their grouper on it. They marinade it in buttermilk and it's very tasty.

Also love their Brussels sprouts Caesar salad and their nice selection of draft beers and good mixed drinks.

It's a nice place to cool off and eat and drink while at the beach.

When you go into brookgreen it's a little hidden gem just past Annie's garden. We had blacken shrimp Mac and cheese, grills seafood salad and watermelon gaspacho. Great service and food all around! It's associated with Austin one in the Lichfield Inn. Definitely will be coming back.

You are right it doesn't look like much! But what a beautiful view and the food was very very good. The service was adequate, unfortunately they were doing roof work at the time I was there and there was a lot of hammering going on. That kind of put a little bit of a damper on the Wonderful atmosphere And the experience.

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. The food was absolutely the BEST I've had in a long time. I would come back here every night for dinner. Didn't have room for dessert but everything from the fresh bread at the table to the salad to dinner was phenomenal. Our waitress Jess was very attentive and prompt.! Will come back as often as possible!

So disappointing. The service was acceptable, the views very nice, but the food was soulless and failed to measure up to the price. If extremely large portions are your measure of quality, then this is the place for you. But if you are used to quality ingredients treated in a thoughtful way you should look elsewhere.

Caesar salad comes with every entree. If you are going to bother to give something to almost everyone then it's going to be good, right? Wrong. Bland dressing. Croutons from a bag. No trace of quality anchovy or Parmesan. A sign of things to come for sure.

The crab cake was

Any dish with their grouper is mighty good! We enjoyed sitting at the bar for lunch and people watching.

Staff is very friendly and they work hard!

The fancy restaurant upstairs and Cabana Cafe have the same kitchen so that's why the food is so good!

Wow, this is one of the most scenic fine dining spots in the Pawleys Island area. The restaurant is located inside The Litchfield Inn. There's a huge window where you can watch the waves and sunsets, so beautiful! Chef Austin uses seasonal ingredients and local seafood, and you can tell. The crab cake is something I'm still dreaming about! I've yet to find one better. The salad was lush and fresh with tons of great ingredients. Service was great and we got to meet the owners who were very nice and care about their customers. I can't wait to get back.
