My young daughters and I went to Jack's for dinner tonight. Our server, Dominic(?) I believe, was great! Our food came quickly, the view was amazing at sunset, everything was tasty. One of the sweet staff gave my girls pirate hats and even made one special to fit my older daughter. We left and stopped in a store a couple miles down the road and I realized I had forgotten to grab my debit card. I called and our server had tried to find us but we were gone. Laura had my card and offered to bring it to my car so I wouldn't have to get my girls back out. We will definitely be back on our next trip

Everything was great until time for the bill. I had the special and asked for it to be blackened after hearing another waitress describe the special. The food was great. Then the bill showed a $1.00 up charge for the fish to be blackened. I explained how I had heard the other waitress describe the special as blackened. Our waitress said the other person was wrong. End of discussion. This exchange went from 4 stars down to 2.

Great place to eat and enjoy the murrel inlet water boardwalk and the goats!!!!!
Food was a little pricey. However, the serving was pretty filling and they’re delicious. Our server, Donovan, was awesome! Wears his smile while taking care of us!
Will definitely return and probably try to eat outside.

Murrells Inlet Marshwalk is a must for those visiting and with a line of top notch restaurants one would be hard pressed to not find something to their liking. For most, including DJ’s, one is paying for the location, ambiance and the culinary experience. With over 40 years of experience, DJ’s features only the freshest seafood available, hand-cut aged beef, sandwiches and small bites, salads and specials. Given the option, we first seated ourselves in the lower level, awaiting our table, which is the bar area offering light appetizers, liquid libations and live music. An order of mozzarella

We both had the sirloin steaks baked potato with butter and sour cream and a side salad. Everything was done right, our waitress was very attentive. My wife had a Pina Colada from the bar which was very good. Our check was about $88. We will be going back there again. One side note if they have real silverware not that flimsy tin stuff a lot of restaurants use.

Wonderful food and service. We ordered and it seemed like a few minutes our food arrived, but not before the hush puppies. The hush puppies and honey butter are delicious! I ate a whole basket it feels like myself. I'm allergic to seafood myself so I only go to seafood places with a group. Drunken Jack's was safe for me to eat the fried hush puppies and that I rare in seafood restaurants! Also, the Angus burger I ordered was hot and fresh and cooked perfectly to medium well. My mom ordered a shrimp po boy and was not disappointed. The sandwich was packed with shrimp and could hardly be handled

The reviews don't lie - this place is fantastic! We were quoted an hour for the wait time, but the host stand texted us after 3 minutes. We sat on the rail outside and had a beautiful view of the marsh. Portions were generous and delicious. I opted for for the local creek shrimp, which were buttery and delightful. The batter was crispy but not overpowering. I will certainly be visiting this place again when I return to the area.
