With years of experience in the restaurant industry, friends Tom and Shannon decided to open up a bar and restaurant in Murrells Inlet and called it The Goat Bar & Grill. Locals and visitors alike have been huge fans of the relaxed atmosphere, cold beers and upscale bar cuisine! From time to time, we have tap takeovers, live music and plenty of fun events lined up for our patrons.

Our unique menu is a mash up of items that we like to eat and we think you will too. From your standard bar staples like nachos, wings and burgers to Asian-inspired dishes like our bulgogi burger, harumaki and tuna tataki, we have something for everyone to enjoy.

Omg house made corned beef slow cooked in beer on the Ruben, Angus burgers, chicken avocado bacon sandwich, hand cut fries, ALL GUD!!!
Big TVs and the service was spectacular.

I love The Goat! It’s a few minutes from my house so it’s definitely a common bar I go to. The bartenders are great & I love the food!

I guess the best thing about the GOAT is the staff. They are very good at their jobs and lots of fun. There is of course beer on tap and a full bar but there is also some pretty good pub grub. Too many New Englanders aside, we enjoy going.

Awesome food! Awesome drinks!
Customer service was also stellar. The bartenders are very friendly and make it a point to speak to you by name. I will definitely be coming back here.

Amazing. Great atmosphere n great service. Business partner n I had lunch there and I am a local so customer service and hospitality is a big plus n you guys are awesome at it.. didn't catch bartenders name but the guy with blueish green hair is awesome.

Love the Food, The Atmosphere, The Staff... Not only Phenomenal, but CONSISTENT! Unique Menu, Close your eyes, randomly pick anything off the Menu and it will be your new Favorite... I promise!

Great place to watch sports as many TVs throughout. Great game day and happy hour specials. Wide variety of food, something to please everyone. Healthy options like salads and grilled chicken, or go all in with burger and fries. Wings were very tasty. Service was a bit slow, sat at a table behind the bar, service seemed to be focused on bar area, had to keep flagging down the bar to get another round. Was there with 4 people, sitting at the bar not option to get all together. Bar area is large, but busy at game time. Very reasonably priced. Everyone very friendly.

Went in right when the place opened, so of course it was fairly quiet. The atmosphere was nice though. I don't recall if our server was also the manager/owner, but he was very friendly and fun to talk to. Typical bar style food with a few unique items here and there. Quality of the food was really good. Definitely good for a casual night out with friends for a drink.
