A Catholic School located in Salt Lake City, Utah, we are accredited for preschool through 8th grade by the Western Catholic Education Association.
Students at J.E. Cosgriff are challenged with meaningful, rigorous instruction. Our curriculum focuses on the study of Catholic Church teachings and the core subjects of mathematics, science, language arts, and social studies. Students also participate in technology, physical education, music, art, and foreign language classes.

Services
Choosing the proper school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make. Thank you for considering J.E. Cosgriff Memorial Catholic School. If you haven't had a chance to tour our school please contact our Admissions Director, Heather Burns at hburns@cosgriff.org to schedule a tour.
You will receive an email notifying you that the enrollment packet is ready for you to complete and submit. Because most of the information is pre-populated, it should only take approximately ten minutes to complete. After that date, incomplete or unanswered packets will be removed, and the spots will be offered to new families.
Applying is easy using our Online Application. We encourage families to apply online as it simplifies submission, and parents will receive email notifications through this system. A non-refundable fee of $75 must be submitted with each application. To begin the Online Application process, you'll create an account first.
Our goal is to ensure that the many benefits of a Catholic education are accessible and available to children and families who value a Catholic education while we try to maintain and attract high caliber teachers. Therefore, families who feel the tuition is out of their reach should go through FACTS Grant & Aid.
J.E. Cosgriff Memorial Catholic School was founded in 1957 thanks to a benevolent gift from the Cosgriff-Sturdevant families in memory of James E. Cosgriff. J.E. Cosgriff was well known for his enthusiastic support of Catholic education in Utah. The first school session began with kindergarten through sixth grade under the direction of the Daughters of Charity.
