Our building is 175 years old and along with room to accommodate funeral and wake services, it is an important historical reference point here in the Village of Orchard Park, and is the home of the Allen Potter House Museum.Our grounds are family friendly. Travel south on Rt. 277 (Union Road) past Southwestern Boulevard, (Rt. 20 and Taffy's Hot Dog stand. Travel south on Rt. 277/Rt 240/Buffalo Street about 2 miles until you reach the intersection at 277/240 and 20A. Turn left onto 20A (Quaker Street) - this is the corner where the Orchard Downs used to be.
The "forest" offers peace and tranquility to our grieving families, and more than anything it offers a space that is new, and unique to the cookie cutter illustration of funeral services. While this is our main objective, Potter's Park can be that special place that many different types of services and ceremonies can take place in.
No matter if a death is sudden, or if it something that was a long time coming, the loss of a loved one makes us feel emotional and overwhelmed.
