O Salon has been a part of the Georgetown neighborhood for 18 years, founded by owners Guillaume Choquet and Soner Ozbay. Guillaume is from Paris, France, while Soner is from Istanbul, Turkey and they are both recognized in fashion magazines as color and balayage specialists in Georgetown. Guillaume and Soner shared a vision to establish a salon emphasizing color creativity and services.

Hailing from Europe, Aldina has been a stylist in the Georgetown area for over 20 years. Those years have made her a truly well rounded stylist, experienced in a wide range of designer haircuts, balayage and hair painting, highlighting and evening styles for special occasions. Lucia's warm personality, intuition and over 20 years of international experience brings a uniquely refreshing experience to her clients.

Amazing! As a long-time client, I continue to appreciate how the O Salon team, particularly each stylist, offers a special experience at every visit. I recently started seeing Aldina after she cut my son's hair. From color services to the cut itself, she was able to incorporate my requests, make suggestions and leave me delighted with the results. Jessica provided a sensational shampoo service on Saturday that is possibly the best I've ever had. Yesterday was a big day for me. I got a haircut. For the first time in 4 months. For a person with a short haircut this is a long time! I went to the same hair stylist I've been with for the past 10+ years. His name is Guillaume Choquet. He is one of two co-owners of O'Salon.
All these years I've been getting compliments on my perfect haircut. My daughter, with her long blond curls, would never go anywhere else for her cuts and highlights. All her Georgetown friends followed her and swear by Guillaume's talent. He holds a BA in Salon Arts

Guillaume is the best hair stylist in Washington, DC! I trust him implicitly to create a beautiful cut and color every time. Most importantly, he has created a safe, comfortable environment during this pandemic. I was nervous to return to the hair salon since COVID began and finally, after 6 months, decided that I was ready. A few minutes before my scheduled appointment I received a text message asking me to wait outside with my mask on to have my temperature taken. I have been a client of Guillaume's for almost 15 years. He is incredibly talented--both at cuts and color--and I always get compliments on my hair. I’ve been a client of Guillaume’s for over 10 years. He’s a master of color and highlights and have always been thrilled with my hair and the welcoming O Salon environment. My visit there today just reaffirms the Salon’s focus on customer care, health and service. In light of Coronavirus, they have gone well above and beyond any recommended protocols. I was messaged to check in, my temperature was taken, and given sanitizer. All while masked. Chairs are distanced and plexiglass walls separate any necessary space. I usually have my hair color done at Ilo salon by Kim. Unfortunately she wasn't available and I needed to get a retouch to the balayage and my root. A read great review about the O Salon and I decided to book an appointment. It was the worst!!! The worst thing I could do to my hair! Overrated and unacceptable service. I worked with a new person called Jonatan and he completely ignored what I told him to do and charged me for a full highlight when he did half plus framing. My stylist is Andrea Simmons and she is honestly the perfect mix of knowledge, love for her craft, and a special experience. If you want to learn about your hair, Andrea has a vast knowledge in hair care but if you just want a relaxed and carefree experience, she’s a pro there as well. The salon itself is beautiful with a cool and relaxed ambiance. The music is nice, the staff members are all polite, and the experience is one that caters to their customers.

I have been going to O Salon for years and praise it highly to family and friends. The atmosphere is calm, friendly, and professional. Everything is so well managed. Guillaume always works his magic with my partial highlights and hair cut, and I also appreciate Rosa's attention to the details of the shampoo experience. Soner is the absolute best in class. He has been the caregiver for my hair for almost 20 years and I couldn't imagine going to anyone else. The cut is always perfection, the 2 step color/highlights are always on point. The salon provides a calm and tranquil setting, the front desk folks are always pleasant and welcoming, the staff that assists in the coloring and washing process is awesome. Dimitri has been doing my hair for over 15 years. He consistently gives my hair a great cut and amazing highlights; I constantly receive compliments, especially for the color. I've been going to Dimitri for highlights for years, and all I can say is that he is a color genius! My daughter now sees Dimitri for highlights as well, and her hair is gorgeous. We both constantly get compliments on the color; it is natural and beautiful -- just what we asked for!
The salon itself is in a lovely house, and is very comfortable. Parking isn't as easy as it might be, but I just take Lyft over there instead of fighting to find something on the street. Wow this experience was so disappointing. I was having some trouble finding a good salon in the area and after looking at the reviews I thought I'd give O Salon a try. I was getting pretty desperate to fix a bad dye job another salon had given me and so I asked for the owner, Guillaume Choquet, specifically so I'd be in good hands. Oh boy was I wrong! Not only did he do a terrible job on my hair, giving me red tiger strips as an attempt to lighten my dark dye, but his hair-stylist chatter had racist undertones and he made numerous homophobic remarks. I just started to come here, I followed my stylist Dimitri Ferrer here. The Salon is wonderful so beautiful, the staff is very friendly and professional. Dimitri is the best stylist I have ever gone too I would not go to anyone else because he is the best in the industry! He works magic with hair, I always get so many compliments from friends, family and strangers on my hair style and color. I love Dimitri he is wonderful! What a lovely salon, and so glad to be back there with my longtime hairdresser, Demetrio Ferrer. Can't recommend him highly enough. We've been together for nearly 20 years and several moves around Georgetown. He is fabulous with color and does a meticulous cut. The salon is a great space--open and light and very comfortable. I highly recommend this salon and Robin Wagner who recently did my cut and color. She really listened to me and did exactly what I wanted, which I feel like is rare among hair stylist. She also didn't rush with my hair or treat me like a number. I found out she has over 15 years experience, which makes sense given how incredible she was.

Went to O Salon as it had good Yelp ratings, was able to get an appointment the same week, and could book online - all good things! However, my appointment was a bit of a disappointment. Started off running about 30 minutes late - no big deal, I find that to be semi-typically at hair places and sometimes I'm late, so I get it. I went in for Balayage and asked for rose gold color to be painted in (I had a picture to accompany me). I explained that I know the picture didn't totally match my hair color (it was someone with brown hair and rose gold Balayage, while my hair was mostly blond

April 15 Back to O Salon for a Keratine Treatment, thanks to Guillaume's recommendation. It was far more intensive than I expected, but the experience was relaxing, and my hair has great shine and volume. This is an oasis of calm and loving service. Merci.

Best ever! I have been to this salon for over 10 years and the service is excellent. Best colorists and stylist in town. I highly recommend Soner. Prices are high but totally fair for the excellent service and a reflection of the excellent quality of the service.
Also important for those with busy schedule: they do not overbook and you get timely service without extensive delays. Support staff are all friendly and excellent as well, Great job!

I had a fabulous experience at O salon.
I love the renovated house they're in, and the atmosphere was chic, professional and comfortable all at once. I got offered cucumber water as soon as I got in, which I gladly took after walking in horrible 100 degree weather.
I had an appointment with Claudia. I love that she talked to me about what I wanted done before I got my hair washed; now she knows my hair texture and how it falls when it's not wet.
I got a short but wonderful head massage during the shampooing, and then back to Claudia, who started snipping away and did an amazing job
