Laser therapy treatment is safe, painless and fast. Treatments to deeper tissues are administered in 5 to 10 minutes. Typically, even chronic patients exhibit improvement after 3 to 5 treatment sessions. Laser therapy utilizes the body's own healing powers by stimulating cellular activity.

Despite short treatment times, laser therapy treatments initiate a healing process that continues to actively reduce inflammation for up to 24 hours after treatment. If your pet is feeling pain, has inflammation, or a wound, the laser is a sterile, pain-free, surgery-free, drug-free treatment. The laser is used to treat a variety of injuries, wounds, fractures, neurological conditions, numerous dermatological problems, and pain.
Chinese herbal preparations can sometimes be an important adjunct therapy in veterinary medicine. Over the past several years, our doctors have learned a lot about the use of Chinese herbal remedies to further support your pet's overall health and well being. The Chinese herbal products we use come from Jing Tang Herbal, a state-of-the-art and closely regulated facility in the U.S. that produces high-quality veterinary herbal supplements.
We will call within a few days of the appointment to review your pet's drop off time and explain how long to fast your pet before they come in (usually a minimum of 8 hours). We make sure to answer all your questions so when you come in with your pet you are up to speed on what to expect and feel comfortable entrusting them to our care.

Critical: Reliability, Responsiveness
This clinic couldn’t care less about providing emergency services for a dog in need. And they certainly don’t have a clue what triage is.

I love coming to seaport vet, and my puppy daisy does as well. They always treat her with so much love, affection and care. I would recommend this place to anyone in the northshore area for all of their pets healthcare needs. The worst part about leaving this vet is watching my pup as she gets all sad because she is leaving her friends.

This place is so caring and they squeezed my dog in even though they didn't have any availability that day just because my dog wasn't feeling well. Now that is a caring vet hospital.

First time visiting. Brought in our cat, later that day our dog for checkups. Dr. Smith knows how to handle nervous cats and made it look easy trimming my cat's nails. My dog was brought up to date with shots, etc. Fee was very reasonable. Clean and pleasant environment.

I first took Bruno To Dr. Cahill years ago and from the first time we met, I knew that we were in the right place. Dr. Cahill and the entire staff at SVH are not only extremely capable clinicians, they are also consistently compassionate, kind and caring toward patients and owners alike.
Sadly, Bruno was recently euthanized as he was elderly and failing. Again Dr. Cahill was there to ease the pain of this transition with his usual sensitivity and compassion. I recommend SVH highly and without reservation to anyone in need of excellent veterinary services.
