We understand that the time you are going through is very difficult. The Galante Family works as a team, with each member having their own special talents and abilities, all coming together as one. This helps to make your experience as pleasant as possible. We do our very best to accommodate any request, so that you can begin to concentrate on overcoming your grief with your family, not worry about the details.
If the death is discovered suddenly the local police should be contacted. Early notification of the funeral home is also advisable. If the person is attended to by a Hospice Center or Home Health Care Provider they should be immediately notified. Call us first. We can assist you with out-of-state arrangements and arrange for local representation.
At the start of the arrangement's our staff will provide you with a general price list to give you a basic idea of cost of services. We will then guide you through the entire arrangement process, which will include; gaining insight to the life of the person that will be honored. Express at this time your ideas and preferences, talk about their life story and highlight their accomplishments.
Galante funeral homes specialize in providing personalized services to meet the wishes of each and every family. This service includes the services of funeral director and staff, embalming, dressing, casketing and cosmetizing of deceased. Funeral home viewing hours and funeral service at the funeral home or a church of your choice.
This can include visitation, followed by a traditional or contemporary memorial service at a church, funeral home, or at another location with the use of a casket that is designed to be cremated or by the use of a rental casket. The Immediate Cremation Service can be arranged as an immediate disposition of the body.

I recently lost my mother which is one of the most difficult times anyone can endure in life. After calling four different funeral homes we decided to go with Galante Funeral Home in Caldwell.
Not only were they reasonably priced, they were also kind and considerate to our needs.
Within two days of her passing we had the most beautiful mass at St. Raphael's Church in Livingston, then to Gates of Heaven in East Hanover with a 40 car motorcade, where the Livingston Police Department helped us stay together at the Livingston circle.
All this in ONE day of preparations, all this with Galante Funeral

The last thing you want to deal with is making funeral arrangements when a loved one passes. This was the first time I had to face anything like this and the Galantes were compassionate, informative and provided outstanding service. They gave us the freedom and time to have the right life celebration for my wife. Afterwards my friends and family commented on how well everything went.
Alice was a beautiful woman and was concerned about her appearance after battling pancreatic cancer. I told her if she didn't look beautiful I would have the casket closed, Alice looked wonderful so we kept the casket
