Services
The Mangino's Pizzeria is an original hometown restaurant that began in New Castle, Pennsylvania. The restaurant was started by Charles Jr. a.k.a. Chuck and Johanna Mangino in 1979. The first restaurant, located on Liberty Street, is where they perfected their authentic Italian recipes. It was there that Chuck and Johanna worked side by side for many years refining their special hand-pinched pizza crust.
Our signature crust topped with the Mangino family's sweetest secret (kept for over 75 years) our tomato sauce recipe and topped with melted Real provolone and romano cheeses. Skip the red sauce and enjoy a variation on an old favorite- white pizza. A unique blend of Italian spices, olive oil, and Real romano and provolone cheeses all atop our signature crust.
Our very own sausage pie recipe that can be cut into twelve (12) slices or more and serve 10-12. Each slice is filled with mild Italian sausage, baked egg and melted REAL Romano and Provolone cheeses, with a flavorful kick of Italian spices, crushed red pepper and fennel seeds. A party tray filled with chicken wings deep-fried to perfection and topped with the sauce of your choice.

This is my favorite pizza shop in the New Castle PA area. I've tried just about every pizza shop in the New Castle area and I keep coming back to Mangino's. My wife likes their meatball dugout but we both like their side salads. pepperoni rolls, and cheese pizza. One thing the Neshannock location needs to improve on is wait time. If they tell 45mins guaranteed you can add another 15-20 minutes onto your wait time.

Excellent dining option for singles, couples and families. There are tables that can seat at least 8 and tables for as little as two. The staff is friendly. The menu is homestyle Italian and everything sounds appealing.
I stopped in for the Meatball Stuffed Loaf and it did not disappoint! 4 massive meatballs, stuffed into a crusty loaf of freshly baked bread. The bread is soft on the inside, but not so much that all the delicious red sauce and rich melty cheese make it soggy. The sauce is somewhat sweet, but not that kind of sweet that lingers and makes you not appreciate the flavors of the tomatoes

Stopped here to grab a bite because I hadn’t eaten all day. Got a personal pizza and let me tell you this sauce is some of the best sauce I’ve ever tasted. Although Ohio isn’t known as a pizza Mecca either. The girl at the counter offered up some great suggestions and was happy to help. Would stop here again if I’m ever in the area in a heartbeat.

New Castle is crazy about french fries. They are in, on, and beside most dishes. Ok with me! Especially when they are tasty like these fries were. Lamb salad- menu description says it consists of romaine, iceberg, olives, tomatoes, fries, lamb, and- provolone? I had to search for any cheese. I chose bleu cheese dressing and it was good quality with chunks of cheese. The lamb was good, with enough for leftovers for tomorrow. Hubby got the Philly steak sandwich. Fresh roll, tasty steak, peppers and onions, but again- where's the cheese? Skimpy. Only reason for the 4*. He ordered a small side

My wife and I intended to simply order carry out. However, upon seeing the cleanliness of the restaurant, the fact that the seating was appropriately spaced for COVID-19, plexiglass in place, employees wearing masks, . . . You could tell they take things seriously and we decided to dine-in. Oh, and the food? Always authentic Italian that might be the best-tasting in town. Order some homemade wedding cookies on your way out to complete a great dinner out.

There’s nothing like the local Italian mainstay that a town is so grateful to have. I never heard of a “Dugout” before (I’m from outta town), but it beats a regular meatball sandwich to a tomatoey pulp. It was fabulous. Many choices of items here. Great service. Quality food. Consistency. I recommend this place.

This is a great Italian pizzeria! There are lots of choices to get a quick homemade lunch, such as Roni rolls, calzones and slices of Pizza. Make your choice and they heat it up for you while you pay. You can eat at tables or take lunch to go.
If you have friends meeting for lunch, you can order a variety of sandwiches, soup, or desserts. I've eaten here twice, and expect too continue tasting different items.

This Sunday we went for an early lunch at Mangino's. Since they opened they have been packed during dining hours. Fortunately we got in before the crowd that day. We had the wedding soup, lasagna, garlic and oil pasta, homestyle pizza and garlic rolls - all were delicious! The serving sizes are quite generous and came out piping hot. The only thing I will mention is that when dining in, you may want to consider calling in your order ahead of time (if possible) unless you have time to burn. We were informed when we ordered that the pizza would be 35 minutes. Fortunately we weren't in a
