I have rented from Ivy Apartments in the past and am currently leasing with them now. Out of all of the apartments I've lived in in Santa Barbara, Ivy apartments has been the most accommodating and proactive company to rent with. The maintenance team is awesome and fulfills requests almost immediately and Matt made sure my leasing process was made smooth and easy. Overall, I really couldn't ask for a better rental company!

Have lived here for over a year now and it's been great! the property managers have worked with us to accommodate during covid and they reach out with rental advice and have been super proactive with assisting tenants in these crazy times. maintenance requests are always taken care of by the workers on site, and they're pleasant and personable as well. I'd love to stay in this complex if it wasn't for our growing family but thank you Matt and Tammy for being the best property managers!

Housing your student in a college town is challenging and it's even more so when your student attends a school with no dorms. We have rented from Ivy for going on our 4th year now. Our student was at their Carrillo location for 2 years and is now renting a 2nd Ivy managed property at their Ladera site.
The key to good management is good communication. Most students and parents end up feeling their experience with a management company was challenging; in reality, most of the issues come down to miscommunication or poor communication and roommate issues.

Renting made easy! I have lived at the Ivy At Carrillo. location for the past year now and I have nothing but positive things to say about this company.
Customer service is amazing. Olivia and Matt are very helpful, accommodating and responsive anytime I'm in need of anything. The maintenance team is very polite and my request for services are taken care of immediately.
The apartments themselves are very clean and all the appliances are brand new. The landscape is beautiful.

This is the ABSOLUTE WORST PLACE TO RENT FROM! Never have I ever experienced such terrible management!!! We have been here for 4 years experiencing one ridiculous thing after the next.
If you or anyone you know is interested in finding a new place to live PLEASE lead them ELSEWHERE. This management company needs to be taken DOWN. They make things up and CONTINUOUSLY lose their paperwork and cannot keep things straight! My car was towed from the same spot I've had for 3 years because they gave a new tenant my same spot and paperwork and they had it towed! They've also somehow lost the

Inexperienced property rental company. They hound you with tens of letters per month, did an ATROCIOUS job at "renovating" the property (we were the first people to move in after the renovation). Tiny parking lot with NOWHERE to park, very low quality furniture and appliances, even though it's "fully furnished". For the price of the rent, I've stayed in 5 bedroom homes with a lower cost. Do not recommend at all.

1. Inexperienced Management
While coming to the close of a 1-year lease, I was informed by management that I had to pay an extra $3,000 for the next month of our rent. As college students, management companies feel they can bully us into giving them this extra money by swearing this was included in our contract. We had almost given up and paid them when we told a lawyer about our situation. He was furious because California law directly contradicts everything that they were telling

I don't normally make reviews, but I wanted to express my gratitude to Nirosha and Victoria who assisted our son, Matthew, in getting his first apartment and living on his own for college. I could tell they were extremely busy, but they always made time to help us and answered any of our questions. If they were out tending to different properties, I could always count on them timely returning my calls and emails. It was always a pleasure working with them.

I lived at Ivy Apartments for 9 months, and left because I got married. The managers at Ivy Apartments are efficient and professional. They make sure maintenance issues get taken care of quickly, and they are up front with contracts, etc. The apartment itself was older with equipment issues, but they fixed those, and the location was great, and many of their apartments are recently renovated.

Looking for a quiet, yet accessible place to all the action within Santa Barbara, this is the place to live at. From the very first day I moved in, I felt right at home. Nirosha and her team take great pride in their properties and will always be there for you in the event that you need something addressed. The complex that I lived in was very quiet, clean, and offered updated appliances, wood flooring, and large closets. It is conveniently located near State street, the city college, and nearby grocery stores. I would rent from these guys again in a heartbeat!
