Hannibal Veterinary Clinic was founded and opened by Dr. Tom Dorsey in 1985. He has been practicing veterinary medicine for over 30 years. Dr. LeAnn Welch job shadowed at the clinic when she was a senior in high school and after graduating from veterinary school in 2012, she became Dr. Dorsey's associate veterinarian.
We offer wellness exams for pets of all ages. In order to keep your companion healthy, they are required to have yearly vaccinations. Our appointment times are from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Our office hours for Saturday is 8 a.m. to Noon.
We perform a variety of surgeries, from routine spays and neuters to growth removals, de-claws, ear trims, cystotomies (bladder surgery), orthopedics, and even emergency surgeries including cesarean sections.If you have a small animal emergency, call the office number and follow the instructions on the voice recording.

We have a state of the art veterinary facility which is clean, comfortable, and efficient.
1. Payment is expected when services are rendered. In order to focus on our patients' needs, customer service and minimizing costs, we do not bill. 2. We accept debit cards, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express) checks and cash. All cards must be signed by the owner of the card.
Anna was born and raised in Hannibal, MO. She graduated from HLGU in May of 2017 with a degree in Public Relations and Media Communications. Anna is currently our full time receptionist. Anna enjoys photography and spending with her husband, Nick. In her spare time, Anna can be found spoiling her nieces, nephews, and her precious dogs, Luna and Athena.

We had to Jazzy down today. The staff there is great. They listen to us gave us time. Are other animals go there also. I would recommend if u need a Vet great place to take your animals. Thank you for all u did for jazzy over the years and also for our the animals.
