Graduating from Detroit Engineering Institue in 1980, Dale began his career performing full service on residential & commercial HVAC systems, and oil and gas furnaces. He then moved to southwest Florida, he has successfully started and operated 3 air-conditioned companies, had 3 children. Donald, Jennifer, and Jessica and touched many lives.
To the sadness of many people date passed away on Sept 2nd, 2018. He will be missed greatly and his legacy will live on through his son Donald. Starting at the age of 13 in HVAC. Donald ran calls and progressed to complete the tri-country apprenticeship program and received training from his father.

Had a great experience with Gilman Cooling & Heating from start to finish. I called to get some information and made and appointment for the next day. The technician was polite and professional and explained what he was doing every step of the way. Definitely recommend this company if you're looking for trustworthy and honest !

As a new Florida transplant, I had no idea how HOT it gets here in the summer without AC [LOL]. I had no resources yet so I asked a neighbor who he would recommend and without hesitation, he recommended Gilman Cooling & Heating. I thought I was calling an after-hours emergency number [it was 8pm on a Thursday night] to leave a message be the first call back of the next morning. As it turns out, the number was the owner's personal cell and left a message. He responded that evening and let me know he sent a message to his office staff to send a technician to diagnose/estimate first thing

Hard working crew and very professional. Bonus, they even added more square footage to our floor plan by moving the unit to the attic. I was really impressed with owner, Don Gilman's professionalism, expertise and caring attitude during the whole process of my initial service call to fix my Hayward pool heater. The price was right too!
At that point I asked him to check my 11 year old central AC which was giving me drainage problems since it was installed by someone else. He diagnosed the problem and pointed out some other apparent issues. I asked for a quote and he explained everything he was doing and why in easy to understand terms. He gave me my low price and when I told him I was a veteran he reduced the price 10%.
