First Steps Preschool

First Steps Preschool is part of the Quality First Rating System, providing quality programs for your children birth to 6 and an afterschool KidzKamp Program for elementary children. Our well trained staff knows just how to create a positive learning environment and how to approach each student to facilitate a lifelong love of learning.

Our mission is to help children develop an appreciation for education and achieve at their highest potential. First Impressions Preschool believes that each child is unique and holds tomorrow's future in the palm of their hand. We take pride in offering quality programs for infants, toddlers, preschoolers and school aged children, as well as an accelerated full-day kindergarten program.

Since she was 4 months old our little one has attended First Steps and now she is 16 months, and while as a working parent you can never feel completely satisfied with any school, First Steps and the teachers and staff REALLY do try to make it as much like home as possible. They supply a great learning environment along with loving care.

My son has been going here since August and weve had no issues. The first month or so he would tell me he didnt like it but now he loves going and gets mad when it's a day off. His teacher greets him every morning with a hug. Hes always running around and smiling. He comes home dirty, with paint, sand, markers, etc which means he had a good time!

I feel confident in leaving my child in the care of the very friendly and loving teachers. I feel each teacher not only watches my child, but knows him. They keep me posted on how hes doing and work with me to make proper steps in helping my child grow in creativity, knowledge, and basic necessities (such as potty training, hand washing, and using regular cups as what is appropriate for his age).
