Dyersburg Funeral Home was founded in November of 1970 by a group of local businessmen. The original owners of the funeral home sold the firm after nine months to Mr. Elmer Moore of Newbern, Tennesse. Mr. Moore was the owner of Dyer County Memorial Gardens, as well as several other businesses in the area.
