Maintenance "Emergency" line is not even an emergency line. it takes about 3 days for them to get back to you. I've had a total of almost 20 bees in my room, I called the emergency line & nobody answered or called back. Not to mention the moisture & mold we had in our basement for months, the literal hole in the foundation of the basement that looked outside, & the gas leak that smelled horribly of gas for the first week I lived here. Thank god I made my house look good but jesus christ jack kohl does nothing for his residents. They are raising the rent to $500 next year

DO NOT RENT WITH JACK KOHL. This was my first apartment and I rented in Kent and it was AWFUL. Never return calls or emails unless they want money, building seems to be falling apart, and we've fixed most the issues ourselves. They take advantage of college students and act like these apartments are worth $450, and I promise they aren't. The foundation seems extremely weak, definitely asbestos and radon in the basement, lead-based paint, and uneven door frames all over the place. If it rains more than 30 minutes the basement begins to leak/flood, the water stains are still present. The

Absolutely disgusting living conditions house we rented at 558 s Lincoln always had bugs. Kitchen appliances falling apart. Also advertised as a 3 bedroom that could be made into a forth bedroom. We were never allowed to add a third. They do not plow snow so make other arrangements for parking in the winter because you’ll have to hire a tow service to remove your car from the parking lot that is if other cars aren’t blocking you from getting out. We paid 450 now it’s 500 each. Total scam. Stay far far away. Office lady might seem nice but don’t ever expect calls back when facing a problem

Do not rent here management is bad. I went 2 weeks and counting without a properly working refrigerator. If you have the money bite the bullet and go somewhere else jack kohl reality is not the way to go. They will make excuse after excuse their main excuse being that they are too busy with their students rentals to handle your problems.

I love renting from Jack Kohl they have a 1 of a kind team and Kaylee is just a all around great person. With the loss of my father in law, and my fiancés hours being cut they were quick to have our backs. I love renting from them and will continue to do so. Yea maintenance takes a bit but jack kohl definitely has alot of properties so I just remind them and the next day they show up. Patience is a virtue.

I have known the Kohl family for 6 decades. Throughout these years, I have personally and professionally required insurance and real estate needs, and never had a bad experience.

Most unprofessional business I've ever encountered! My fiance and I broke up before our wedding, and they told us it should be fine for them to break the lease because we were not living together beforehand. I knew they would keep the security deposit, but only wanted to end things peacefully.
After OVER a month after us calling to see if they would help us, they said no and are now making us continue to pay rent for a place I'm not even living at. Terrible customer service! I should have read the reviews on here before signing a lease with such a terrible company!
