An essential part of maintaining your child's oral health is having regular professional cleanings. Remove plaque and tartar. Plaque is a sticky film containing bacteria that attack tooth enamel, causing cavities and inflaming the gums. Plaque left on teeth over time hardens and becomes calculus (tartar), which can only be removed with dental tools.
Injuries to the mouth and teeth of children are very time sensitive and need to be addressed immediately. Contacting us in time and getting to our office quickly may save a tooth, prevent infection and reduce the need of further treatment and suffrage. Leaving issues untreated or delaying treatment can contribute to poor oral health and other serious general health issues.
The removal of single teeth may be necessary to maintain the health of your remaining teeth and mouth and at times to create more space for the organization and alignment of permanent teeth. After evaluating all options and doing as much as possible to save a tooth, extraction may be your best or only option.
Tooth enamel is constantly broken down and reformed on surfaces of the teeth in the mouth. Fluoride can assist in reformation of enamel components and strengthen them. Water fluoridation is a common practice in U.S. public water systems. However, bottled water, home treatment systems and private well water may not be fluoridated.
Saving a decayed or injured tooth is important to a child's speech development, chewing and alignment of permanent teeth. When pulp tissue - the nerves, tissue, and blood vessels in the core of a primary or permanent tooth - becomes diseased, or infested with bacteria some or all of the pulp may need to be removed.

We are new patients at this pediatric Dentist...We are VERY unhappy with the lack of professionalism, and the office manager "Kimberly'"....A VERY rude/agressive/condescending Woman, who should NOT be in this position.
You will be dealing with HER the most, so be prepared for a unsatisfactory experience...She needs to either RETIRE, or take a long vacation....She throws off the vibe of not enjoying her job, and it's incredibly UNPLEASANT/UNPROFESSIONAL...If you have Med-ical, it's even worse...They are ALL about $$$$$$..
My child went in there for surgery for THREE teeth, and came out with them

Took my 5 and 7 yr old children to see Dr. Azi and never thought they’d ask, “When can we go back to the dentist?” Mind you, this was after filling cavities, not just a check up! Dr. Azi was extremely kind, gentle and very respectful toward my children in that she prepared them and walked them through exactly what she was going to do. She asked if anything was uncomfortable and graciously adjusted things for them. Dr. Azi and her staff were very welcoming and professionals at creating a calm and child friendly environment. I have had such a hard time finding a pediatric dentist for both my kids and I got to say when I was recommended over to little heroes, I was not disappointed! I do have to drive from Lake Elsinore to Aliso Viejo, but I do not mind the drive. Staff is amazing! From the very first visit to now, I have been greeted with a friendly smile from the front office. Kim is amazing and goes above and beyond to help with scheduling and Ashley in the back office always takes amazing care of my kids. They both live her..Dr. Azi was the only one willing to see my kids during Covid and that alone goes to show
