Since 2007, AutoTranz Transmissions has been providing car automotive repair and maintenance with that small town feel in the Parma and surrounding area. We are open Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and have 4 working bays available for our full-time mechanic and technician team members to perform all diagnostic, repair, and scheduled maintenance services.
Stuart has worked as a service writer for 15 years. His experience as a manager helps him perform the duties of service writer at AutoTranz Transmissions. His expertise in customer service makes him a valuable part of our team. He focuses on taking care of customer needs in any way necessary to insure they're happy with the services provided.
The auto repair services we provide our customers are specifically designed to extend your vehicle's life of reliable service. We work on most makes and models, foreign or domestic. Our ASE certified technicians normally complete maintenance and small repairs the same day. Our commitment is to thoroughly inspect your car, pick-up truck, van, or SUV so we can provide your vehicle with the services it needs from most urgent to least urgent.
AutoTranz Transmissions is located at 102 N 5thSt which puts us right in the center of downtown Parma, in Canyon County. We have talked with many of our customers in Nampa, Caldwell and the surrounding Treasure Valley. Many have been loyal customers of ours for years. They tell us they will make the trip to Parma so we can continue to service and repair their vehicles.

We recently took our 2012 Subaru Outback into Autotranz in Parma with a blown head gasket. The car had gotten super hot when this happened and we were worried there was more damage than just the blown gasket. Lyle, the owner, called within the week and told us he sent the head in to be ground smooth and would put a new gasket in, otherwise the engine looked good. Talk about an honest mechanic. Super impressed, car runs great!!! Thanks Autotranz!

My 17 yo daughter made an appointment for an oil change.....$58.91 later! What thieves! 5 quarts of oil @ $5.93= $29.65 and lube, oil & filter service which was not asked for $19.99. They totally took advantage of her! Do yourself a favor and go to Points on Grove St-we could have done both our cars for that price.

The best customer Service I have ever experienced. Normally I don't leave reviews but Ed has been phenomenal throughout my whole experience and he offered to take time out of his own personal day to help me with my car. All around a 5 star review. I felt re assured through out my whole experience and will probably come here and refer here to everyone I know. Was referred here by a friend, and was glad to find out about Autotranz. They were upfront, approachable and went out of their way to make sure I had the answers I needed, in a timely manner. I was headed to pick up my shirt order from Pullover Prints, when I knew something was going on with my car. I was lucky that Autotranz is right behind Pullover Prints. I asked Ed if he could look at my car and see what was wrong with it. He was able to fix my car and send me on my way. He also gave me his lunch to eat because I was on my lunch hour and was starting to get hangry. The service was exceptional. I will definitely be back!

I was very nervous about taking my truck in for a transition fluid change because it only had 36k on it and I was surprised when the dealership said that it needed that work. Especially as a women I was worried that I would end up being talked into more services then I actually needed so I decided to call around and do research. Autotranz is the shop I picked. I recently dropped off my vehicle at Auto Tranz Transmissions. They were professional, prompt, and budget conscious. The folks at Autotranz are wonderful! They've saved me money, and time, by doing what needs to be done, and at a good price (when other places have told me things would cost more). They've replaced my timing belt and full 200,000 mile service, shocks and struts, fixed problems with my wiring harness and battery, and just recently, fixed my headlight socket. My car has ~230,000 miles, and I'm hoping for many thousands more. These guys are knowledgable and honest. I know they won't be overcharging me, or doing work that doesn't need to be done. It's nice to have mechanics I can trust.
