Funeral services can be tailored toward personal requests at the funeral home, family residence, or at the church. Services can include a religious ceremony or contemporary services, depending upon the family's wishes. Personalization of funeral services can include: Picture Memorial Leaflets, Memory Table (personal family tributes) and Memory Board (pictures of one's life).
Staff members of Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. are caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. These requests and traditions are of utmost importance to our staff of licensed funeral directors. Richard A. Heintzelman was licensed in 1953 and received his degree from the Eckel's Mortuary School in Philadelphia.
Our location in Hellertown has been in operation since 1897. Pliny A. Bergstresser first opened the funeral home when he combined the business with a cabinet making and furniture sales store. Then in 1942, Clarence W. Templeton purchased the funeral home. Templeton Funeral Home was in operation for 42 years before Clarence desired to retire.
Our new event center in Hellertown is adjacent to our funeral home at 326 Main Street, Hellertown, PA. Our mission is to provide innovative and quality facilities for diverse gatherings for bereavement luncheons, business meetings, social and educational opportunities. We provide unmatched venue services along with an event experience like no other.
