La Plazita Preschool in collaboration with Bridge Housing is very excited to bring a brand new Infant and Preschool Center to Marea Alta. The brand new center is located directly across the street from San leandro Bart Station making it extremely accesible to commuters. La Plazita San Leandro will have all of the same curriculum which is full Spanish immerion and fully prepares children for kindergarten.
To foster in a playful way a solid linguistic, cognitive and socio-emotional foundation, structured academics, a supportive loving environment and creative expression! When I was searching for a preschool to put my now eleven year old in, I found a Spanish Immersion program that was great on language but did not properly prepare my son for entering into Kindergarten.
Is where we started our school but has since been consolidated into La Plazita II located on MacArthur. La Plazita II is located at 3625 MacArthur Blvd. La Plazita III is located at 3632 35th Ave. and is our newest school. Both of our schools serve children from two to first grade entry. Looking for a TK program, we more than surpass TK by allowing for a fully enriched challening program with a much smaller teacher to student ration.
At La Plazita we strongly believe in preparing children to succeed. Our leadership team is made up of highly regarded educators and trainers that have come together to create a solid curriculum. We are an immersion program that immerses children not only in the Spanish language but also in our culture.
La Plazita Preschool's curriculum is a mix of instructor led, play based, montessori, Reggio Emilia and other curriculums we have merged to create our own. As an immersion school we also employ a multitude of langauge acquisition techniques to ensure language learning. This is just one of the many butterflies that have been born at La Plazita, where we observe their growth form egg to caterpillar to butterfly.
