I made reservations about 1 month in advance for a full balayage. They will text you for the appointment details and confirmation. I do not think they have a main telephone line at the Ton Vangard salon. You must make appointments because they do not accept walk-ins.
Parking can be a hassle in this area, so I'd park in the back. Ask the front desk if you have no idea what this means.
DO GET YOURSELF A CUP OR TWO OF THE LAVAZZA CAPPUCCINO. It's complimentary and delicious!!

I don't even know where to begin! First of all the salon is gorgeous. Second, I had been looking for someone to do a specific hair style for my wedding (Hollywood style curls) it was late at night when i found Ton Vanguard and decided to message them to ask if they could do this particular style. I was expecting a reply the next day since it was so late. BEST SALON EVER!! From the moment you walk in, to the moment you leave (which you won't want to), it's the friendliest, funniest cool environment. Requested a cut and color here via Yelp for my girlfriend. Within minutes we had an appt. set up. Irene the owner was diligent and professional in setting it up and calling me to take payment. My girlfriend's stylist was Roxy and says she was fantastic, took her time(2.5 hours) and the results are amazing. My lady's hair has never smelled so nice and we bought products from Von to keep it that way. The color is deep and her hair so soft, we love it. Thank you so much Irene and Roxy.

I had an amazing experience with Steven the other night. He was really great at explaining to me the current state of my hair and gave me suggestions on what we could do. While the style and cut was a little pricey in my opinion, Steven really made it worth it for the experience. He's a great conversationalist and a great stylist. I had a lot of damage to my hair and he was able to shape everything up, keeping in mind that I did want to keep my length. First and foremost this place is NOT at all worth the price they charge. I called and was quoted $180 and specifically asked about extra charges for bowls and what not because I know that I have very long thick hair & I was told that they don't charge extra only $80 for my haircut ! Yet Somehow at the end of my appointment I was told my total was $380? (Ok, why?) they charge for toner, and she used two different ones apparently to blend it which for the record I didn't request two toners or an ombré which is basically what I got. Best experience! Roxy gave me the balayage I've been waiting for 10 years now but nobody could ever achieve it. I've had horror stories from past experiences and it's good to know I found someone I can trust who is a genius with color and really listens to what it is you want. She also gave me one of the best hair cuts I've ever had. She made my fine, thin hair look nice and full. Thank you Roxy for the new burst of confidence! This is my second time going to Ton Vangard and I absolutely loved it. My stylist this time was Lindsey.
It's been quite some time since I've cut my hair and to be honest I was a little worried since the last time I cut my hair a hair stylist (from another salon) cut my hair way too short.

Went to Isabelle who corrected my color previously botched by another local stylist. I recently moved from the west coast and had a colorist for over a decade who was very familiar with my hair. I had a very specific base and peekaboo highlight shade that I needed replicated and touched up after I moved. After two failed attempts, I was ready to give up and just dye my own hair. Wow this is a very late review, but this must not go under promoted. Jessica did a fantastic job on my hair! The girls there were awesome super down to earth silly and sociable. I've been seeing Brittany for over a year to cut and color my hair. I have super thick hair and struggled for a long time finding someone who knew how to cut it properly.
Not only is Brittany professional and super sweet, but she takes her time and truly wants to make you love your style! She is so knowledgeable and has great tips and product suggestions.
I had a balayage done for my wedding and over a year later my color has barely faded and still looks amazing!!

I am the pickiest person ON EARTH when it comes to my hair and the subject of allowing anyone to touch my hair gave me the cold sweats. Ive had so many bad experiences to just walk into any salon comfortably.
FEAR NO MORE !!! If there were hair angles on earth, then IM 100% positive you will find them at Ton Vangard.

Friend Amy Ambrosia. When I first came to see her at Ton VanGard I had a warm welcome followed by a warm cinnamon latte. I had a lovely consult with Amy, she listened to all my hair needs.
I ended up doing a full Balayage with a Conditioning treatment, hair cut with an amazing shampoo and blow dry. My hair turned out absolutely beautiful, I fell in love with my hair pure perfection! Amy, also sold me my new favorite hair shampoo and a reparative mask, I can go days without washing my hair.. the products

As a stylist myself for 16 years, I critique like crazy...but today at the salon I didn't have to. I gave Isabella the freedom to rock out on my cut and she KILLED it!!!! The vibe in the salon is extraordinary and I genuinely felt like I've know the crew for years!! Love the staff at this place, starting with Irene she's a magnificent person. Always smiling she transmit happiness. Brandon is my hair stylist, he's as excellent as he can be. He been doing my hair for a while. I call him the hair doctor, he's good with color and hair cut and styling. Since I've been seeing him my hair got healthier and longer, always getting compliments from people about my hair. I recommend this place. Last but not least Julie she washes your hair like a goddess, she literally make you fall asleep, she give good massage on your hair as she washing it. 👌am a happy client.
