Fast service, great food, and a wonderful staff. If you're looking for good food at amazing prices, definitely check out this place. Be sure to try the house margaritas or if you're looking for something non-alcoholic, the agua fresca.

Our first visit. Had the Carnitas dinner and the chicken fajitas. Very tasty and fresh, great chips and salsa, too! Will be back!

Service was slow for an empty restaurant. Food was good, but not great. We were in the area so we pulled in for lunch, but I wouldn't make the drive for it. Husband enjoyed the Chile relleno.

This is a nice little Mexican spot to grab lunch. The place wasn't very busy for lunch and has ample parking. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The quesadilla and rice were both excellent. The refried beans were a little bland and lacked cheese on top. There is a small festive bar on the north side of the restaurant and some tables outside. This place would be a lot nicer if it had an actual patio.

I absolutely, positively love this place. It's a great family-owned restaurant. I used to have a "favorite", but started getting out of my comfort zone. Never been disappointed! Meals are totally reasonably priced, so are the drinks.

This is one of our all-time favorite Mexican restaurants. We have been coming to the Crestwood location for as long as they have been open here, and are thrilled that they still have many of the same employees. They know us and our family, and ask about us every time we're in. Great food with excellent spicy salsa. Our family favorite is the Kelly Special, but we're been all over the menu and have never been disappointed.

I would live here lol! Best mexican food in stl and ive tried a lot of places. I have eaten a lot of different things all chicken mostly because im not a beef eater really but anything chicken is great. All white breast meat!

For a neighborhood eatery, El Agave offers a very good dining experience. The food is quite flavorful, it's fast, the decor is festive and comfortable, and it's very reasonably priced. You can actually afford to take the family to a good meal without breaking the bank. Well done!
