We have two locations, our Frederick Street funeral home in Hanover with an "on-site" crematory, and our funeral home in Bonneauville, PA just outside of Gettysburg, PA. Wayne V. Kenworthy began his work in the funeral business in the 1960's. Looking for a funeral home in the area in which he grew up, Wayne and his wife, Margaret M. (Sterner) Kenworthy, purchased the Bucher Funeral Home in Hanover, Pennsylvania in 1965.

Originally owned and operated as a Funeral Home by Frederick Bucher starting in 1933, the lovely Victorian era home and business - circa 1897, was the ideal location to establish the W.V. Kenworthy Funeral Home.The Kenworthy Family has been providing excellence in the funeral service in the Hanover area ever since.

She was the loving wife of Kenneth B. Bosley with whom she shared sixty-three years of marriage, and was the biggest supporter and cheerleader for her Family. Winifred was a 1956 graduate of Littlestown High School, . Winifred was born in Gettysburg, PA, on September. Mary was a member of St. David's Lutheran Church, Hanover, PA, and also the Adult Sunday School Class.

The basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces. The Funeral Honors rendered to you or your veteran will be determined by the status of the veteran.

Eric did an awesome job with the obituary and picture montage for my Father in-law. It was a beautiful tribute to his life and family. During this crazy time with the virus it was impossible to have a memorial with the family. The service that Kenworthy were invaluable!
