Services
Emig Funeral Home has been established in the Dover area since 1928. It was founded by George H. Emig. His son, Scott B. Emig took over the business in 1969. After serving the Dover community for many years, Scott retired in 1992 and sold the business to Daniel W. Cupp, Jr., who was originally from the Montoursville area.
At Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc, we take great pride in caring for our families, and will work tirelessly to provide you with a beautiful, lasting tribute to your loved one. In addition to the services we offer, you will receive an online memorial that you can share with family and friends.
When planning a service, you have many options available to you and we will do all that we can to provide a beautiful and respectful ceremony. No matter your choice, we can offer you a space to join with family and friends in grief, comfort and love. And above all, we will do our utmost to honor your loved one.
When it comes to your final arrangements, shouldn't you make the decisions? The arrangements you make will reflect your exact wishes and desires. Pre-arranging your own service will help to ease the burden of your loved ones. It will also alleviate any questions, problems or differences, which can occur among family members.
Meaningful memorialization of a loved one's passing can transform, heal, and comfort us. It highlights our loved ones' sacrifices, reminds us of the things that they value, and inspires us with their life stories. Have the Talk of a Lifetime, a program created by The Funeral and Memorial Information Council, was designed to help families have meaningful conversations about the things that matter most in their lives.

We have had the unfortunate pleasure of working with Heather and staff twice this year. They are amazing. Great communication and understanding. Always there to awnser all questions and their set up and care for both Mom and Dad was perfect and beautiful. We couldn't have asked for better. Definitely recommend for any care for you loved ones. From taking care of both to setting up dad for his arrangements.
