We will remain open during this difficult time. Our therapists will do their best to accommodate your needs but we are requesting that if you are able to do phone sessions or telehealth that you please utilize that service so that those whom can not can safely come to the office. We appreciate all of your support and appreciate your patience.
We will have support staff in the office to help answer your questions. At Creekside, the therapy process starts with our intake process. Our coordinator spends up to an hour with you going over all the paperwork. This process helps them to get you scheduled with a therapist that best fits your needs as well as insurance coverage.

Services
Creekside Counseling Center was developed in 1998 by Connie Callahan and Keith Manner for the purpose of providing high quality mental health services to the citizens of Shasta County. In 2003 Creekside Counseling Center was developed into a California Non-Profit Corporation to provide mental health services to children, teens, and adults in the Redding area.
Psychotherapy is not like a medical doctor visit. Instead, it calls for a very active effort on your part. In order for the therapy to be most successful, you will have to work on things we talk about both during our sessions and at home. Psychotherapy can have benefits and risks.
Since therapy often involves discussing unpleasant aspects of your life, you may experience uncomfortable feelings like sadness, guilt, anger, frustration, loneliness and helplessness; on the other hand psychotherapy has also been shown to have benefits for people who go through it.Therapy often leads to better relationships, solutions to specific problems, and significant reductions in feelings of distress.

I absolutely loved this place. It was easy to find, the building is newer and was always nice and cool on hotter summer days. I love my therapists, one of which is no longer with Creekside, and they listened with compassion and provided vital tools needed to grow as a person. I enjoyed coming here and will recommend this center !
