Services
We are recognized for providing the most detailed home inspections in the industry. Our average inspection lasts three and a half hours and includes laser, infrared, and sonar technologies. We inspect every square inch of your home and report everything from structural defects to burned out light bulbs.
Working with FL Certified Inspections was the best part of our house buying experience hands down. They're very detail oriented, and they make sure you know exactly what is wrong/right with the house and how you can fix it (and how you can save $ on your ins). They were so professional, nice, helpful and I just cannot say thank you enough.
Our inspection fees are based on the conditioned square footage of the home and range from $249 to $449 for homes 800 to 4000 sq. While it's not required that you be present for your inspection, it is highly recommended so that you can ask questions and learn about the condition of the home. If you can't be present, a representative over the age of 18 must grant the home inspector access.

Dave and his wife are very professional home inspectors and very thorough. I learned from that inspection to ALWAYS have a 3rd party home inspection done. My home builders were great but Dave found so many items that needed repair and/or a touch up. He also shared a lot of valuable information with me which I needed since I am a first time home buyer. I can not say enough great things about Dave Nopanen. His professionalism, worth ethic, technical acumen and feedback have been priceless. We asked Dave to come out and do an early inspection (~30-40 days prior to closing) on our home. It has paid us dividends. He has been incredibly patient and always available to answer our litany of questions anytime of the day, night or on weekends. He even called us to see how we were doing. If you need inspections, go to this company! Dave was ready on the spot to set an appointment. He answered his phone when I called to confirm. Whitney was so very knowledgeable, professional, and early to the home I was going to purchase. She also answered many of my questions during the inspection, and explained why it was important to know about her findings. I wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy. Inspector didn’t do a great job whatsoever, my spouse was not walked around the property and it was a rushed inspection. 2 Weeks into our home we have a serious plumbing issue that multiple inspectors said should have been caught during the inspection. The worst part about this company is Dave, the very nice/ informative inspector before you purchase and a very rude and disrespectful person after you purchase. Dave and his staff are simply amazing. I received my report by 10PM the same day. The pictures of the issues found were spot on. They have tools for everything. They measure heat and cold , how far into the wood nails go using some kind of x ray machine. You should see the pictures from a heat sensing camera. There is a little plug thing they test the outlets with including the GFI outlets. They open and closed every single one of my windows evaluating each lock, screens...so much more than from other inspectors on other homes I have purchased!!! I hate to say it but he could double the price and

I had a musty odor in my food pantry. I called Florida Certified Home Inspections to check on the problem. I spoke to Dave and he explained the process. It was very easy to complete the application on line. At the appointed time, Ms Whitney Ogden arrived at my home and began her inspection. She was highly professional throughout the time she spent inspecting all areas of concern. I was very impressed with her knowledge,expertise and professionalism. I seldom provide a review of a company if it is not on either end of the extremes. Florida Certified Inspections absolutely deserves some recognition, but beyond the company, I wanted to praise my inspector, Dave. I bothered him with multiple calls while reviewing quotes and competitors, and each time, he comforted me with calm and clear explanations and answers.
