Services
Individual Therapy - We feature a customized course of treatment tailored to meet each client's individual needs. A consistent, intensive experience enables clients to resolve root issues and achieve treatment goals. Couples Therapy - We strive to offer a safe haven to every couple that facilitates relational attachment leading to mutual satisfaction and fulfillment.
We exist to provide outpatient treatment for children, adolescents, and families that is developmentally appropriate, relationally based, and clinically excellent. Safe Harbor counselors operate with sensitivity and compassionate understanding regarding the vulnerability of your child. We diligently aim to gain the trust of children through creative relationship building.
At Safe Harbor we believe in comprehensive mental health treatment that makes medication management accessible in house for our clients who need more than counseling alone. Our nurse practitioners have the experience and knowledge to provide relevant prescriptions for mental health issues and they collaborate with your therapist in order to help you reach your goals.
Helping our clients achieve clinical success means the world to us. In a 2015 survey of over 13,000 clients, 91% indicated that they felt they made positive progress while in therapy. We want clients to thrive. That is why we developed a program for counselors that is exclusive to Safe Harbor called Client Thrive 3.0.
When you reach out for the first time, you will be connected to a scheduling coordinator who will listen to your specific needs and will connect you with a counselor who is the very best fit for you. Our scheduling coordinators will collect some basic demographic information from you including your insurance information, will find out what type of services you are looking for, and schedule your first appointment with one of our providers.

My counselor was lovely but the company has very unfriendly policies for cancellations. I think a $60 cancellation fee is excessive, especially when it was because my daycare had to close 2 hours before my session because of a covid exposure. Completely out of my control, I notified them immediatelty, had no history of no shows and could provide written proof of the last minute daycare closure. Very unfortunate.

When I defended my sons presence she hung up on me (wasn't even in the call five minutes).
I filed a complaint with the state of MD and my insurance for fraud. Avoid. Managers never even bothered to call me back to resolve the
