In response to the owners comment - I have eaten here several times. I pick from the menu what I can. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's not. Contrary to this establishments beliefs - menu selection is a large portion of customer satisfaction. This review is mine and these comments are my personal beliefs.

Nice space , menu , service . The food was creative but lacked taste. Curry chicken with purple cauliflower and coconut milk should do more than just look good on a plate , it was tasteless. Neither good or bad just tasteless and beautiful to look at. The burgers and salad was good and tasty. Why this is not a 4 star review ? Fork and Ale uses a xerox paper menu. The idea of a server approaching a table and listing the various items not available is ridiculous. We dined at the start of dinner service on a weekend . If you start your service and you don't have product , photo copy a new

The restaurant is right on the Schuylkill trail but the establishment is more upscale than a place designed for runners and bikers. I enjoyed my lobster roll and there was a good beer selection and there are daily specials. Unfortunately the hours are limited so check the availability before heading over.

Another great restaurant with a very select small menu. I love it. Not 10 different burgers but 1 amazing burger and really good beer. The garlic aioli is really good, very mild. Love the lettuce wrap instead of bun. Prices are great. Salads are huge. Fresh cut fries are extra salty but I still ate them all. The Shanty Blueberry lemonade beer was amazing. And the Constitution lager is a little heavier than Sam Adams and Yuengling but still good. Service is amazing and the staff was very attentive. My husband commented on the unique decor. Several tables for larger groups. There is also an outside

Liked this place before COVID but was really disappointed with tonight's meal. I wasted $100 and won't come back. I had Asian lightly fried chicken and my wife had a Reuben. The chicken tasted like it was from Burger King and they put a little Asian sweet and spicy sauce to help the cause. The Reuben tasted like thanksgiving stuffing. We won't be back.

I have been here 4 times recently and I have to say each time they have been spot on. The Wings are amazing! Love the pretzels and the dipping sauce. They have a great selection of beers. My husband is a big fan of the Meatloaf Sandwich. My husband and I consider ourselves foodies and this place has us coming back.

The first time we went was May 2017 and we liked it, food was good, bit overpriced but still not horrible. Just went on March 28th for take out do to Covid-19 stay at home order... I order chicken and waffles and my wife ordered an Asian Salmon Burger (forget the name) ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE... I would have gotten more food if I ordered a Chicken Mcnugget Value Meal at McDonald's... the picture is what i got for $17. Got about 8 green beans, 2 chicken nuggets, and basically a HALF a waffle... the sauce was also horrible tasting... my wife's salmon burger was better for the money but she

It's nice to have good options when I visit my parents. I grew up in the area when all we had to choose from were deli sandwiches and pizza. Thank god for progress. I started with an incredible cocktail- Inside Job- a sweeter version of an old fashioned. We split the cheeseboard but it wasn't generously portioned, so I'm glad I got the goat cheese empanadas. They were awesome! Hubs had the poutine. He's been trying to find a decent version here, ever since our trip to Quebec. This was the best of the American versions he's tried. Service was good and the decor is warm and

To be honest, I enjoyed this place, but I just didn't quite love it. I met a friend here for an early dinner one afternoon, as it was a happy medium for us both. We arrived for happy hour specials, and so we decided to stick to those.
Their beer selection was kind of mediocre. If you've got ale in your name I expect somewhat of an upper class selection, however, there were only maybe two beers that came off as any bit enticing (and that's pushing it). The pricing wasn't terrible for the HH specials, and sizes certainly matched, however the flavor in my fried rice was sub

Wow! This was wonderful!!! So glad we stopped and had lunch. This will be a regular stop on the way to Reading.
The beer selection was great! Can't wait to sample the wines.
Appetizers were superb - duck roll and tuna tataki. Perfect presentation.
Main courses were also excellent - ahi tuna melt open face sandwich and pulled pork caprese sandwich.
It's a keeper! We're hooked.

We were staying in the nearby French Creek State Park and arrived around dinner time on a Friday night. We pulled in and I didn't feel like preparing a meal so we sought out a place to get dinner...Fork and Ale was chosen because of it's proximity to the campground. It was about 12 minutes away. I packed up my husband and 2 small kids and we were on our way.
I ordered the Crab Cake Sandwich, my husband got some Salad with Steak on it and my kids got the 2 items that they had on the kids menu. A grilled cheese and chicken nuggets. Be aware those are your only 2 options if you have kids

Very good! I came for lunch and got a variety of appetizers and snacks and some cocktails and all of it was very good. We had the deviled eggs, pickles, pear bruschetta, arancini, and mushroom lettuce wraps. All of the food was very tasty and decent portions for snacks and appetizers.
I also had the Rosemary's Greyhound and Citrus and Sage Gin and Tonic. The cocktails were amazing! I would highly recommend both of these. Fruity and herby and perfect for Spring/Summer.

The Fork & Ale had a nice calm atmosphere with friendly and accommodating service. Our questions about menu items were answered, and requests were taken directly to the chef.
We enjoyed the day's special soup; potato leek, two orders of the Prime Rib Dip, as well as the Warm Brussel Sprout Salad. Each item was a sizable portion and tasty. Our only concern were the appetizer portions, there were four people in our party and only three deviled eggs to the app. The Sweet Potato Wedges were very good but again, a small portion size.
I enjoyed a cocktail, The Inside Job, and felt the price
