We have had some food that we really enjoyed and some food that is terrible. I tried the green curry chicken and it had green food dye in it to turn it green. I've never seen that before at any other restaurant. It looked so weird and gross. It was horrible and I couldn't eat it. I don't know if I could go back here again after that experience.

We took a drive with family and got a chance to take out food from here. Glad that we found this place and we will definitely come back to try more. We ordered orange chicken and Szechuan chicken. Orange chicken was the best I had so far but Szechuan disappointed.. quantity is really good for the money spent and definitely a great place for Chinese and Thai food

I love the food and have told everyone how they follow all of the Covid rules! I was wrong! Christmas will be the last time I eat here. There were 6-8 people working and at least 2 of the men in the back were not wearing masks. It was very disappointing. In the 10-15 minutes I stood there, they brought in more than $500. I wonder how many people would not have ordered from them if they knew that.

I have ordered from here for many years. I have tried a lot of the items on the menu. Every time is consistent, made to order and uses fresh ingredients - especially the sushi and vegetables. I really like that they have Chinese, Japanese and Thai dishes on the menu. The sushi is not what you would expect from a strip mall take out joint. It is top notch, and I will continue going back for more! Keep up the good work Joyful House!

I have stopped in a few xs for take out. About 2wks ago as I was waiting for my order, the man that was preping a take out order for Sushi, wearing gloves, stopped and rang up my order. The huge problem was that he did not put on clean gloves after he rang me up. He went over and continued to make sushi rolls with the same gloves. I noticed that… his gloves were so filthy and stained black from the dirty money. I was so sick in my stomach and then thought, if he does this in front of customers...what goes on behind that curtain in the doorway? I WILL NEVER EVER EAT THEIR FOOD AGAIN. SO DISGUSTING

Date of visit: Thursday 29 August 2019. This was my first time dining here. I ate in and ordered the lunch "special" Chicken Chow Mein with an eggroll on the side. No soup or soda included in their special. The chicken chow mein was spicy but I enjoyed it because I was starved. I discovered this restaurant just by driving around the plaza after getting off of 422. I doubt that I will return again because the Joyful House is far from my home. Try it, you might like it.
