Reached out to this company to cater my wedding. I am a college student so I have a budget (don't we all?). I informed this company of my budget and Joe Hulsar (via email) told me my budget was "unrealistic" for the number of guests. Instead of Joe recommending I lower my guest count to a more accommodating range or implementing ways to provide supportive options, his implicit bias (because of my budget ) dismissed me as a potential client.
His response was VERY unprofessional.. I would never recommend this place to anyone who doesn't own a multimillion dollar company. It is clear Joe does not

We had a wonderful experience with Kahn's catering our wedding at the Scottish Rite. Steven was very personable, a great planner, and was available whenever we needed him leading up for the wedding. You don't get that level of service with other catering companies, and we certainly appreciate it as wedding planning is stressful. Also, the food was high-quality and top-notch; we enjoyed it ourselves and received nothing but positive feedback from our guests.

Kahn’s never disappoints! Great people to work with! The food and service is always on point! There is no other catering company that I would trust with my business catered events, or my personal special events! They are very responsive and professional! Joe, the owner is passionate about what he does and it shows! They have a great staff and can and will make any event a bit in the food and service department! You can not go wrong if you hire Kahn’s to cater your event .

We had a work event and needed all food to be individually packaged to be compliant with current Covid rules, but wanted something nicer than basic box lunches. Kahn's had some excellent salad options as well as much nicer than usual sandwiches. I had the salmon salad which included a grilled filet of salmon on a bed of greens with hard boiled egg wedges and tasty dressing on the side. It came with a roll and chocolate chip cookie. All was fresh and tasty. Colleagues also said the tenderloin salad was excellent as were the grilled vegetable and club sandwiches. They delivered

Despite a global pandemic, the entire Kahn's Catering team was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding. No detail was left behind, everything was planned and coordinated expertly and the professionalism of Steven and the entire staff was refreshing as we planned our special day. Strongly recommend against using Kahn's Catering. While the venue (Indiana State Museum) immediately refunded the deposit in light of our decision to cancel a wedding due to COVID-19, Kahn's not only refused to do so, or allow the deposit to be used against a future event, they demonstrated an incredibly obnoxious attitude in response suggesting the virus was not a legitimate reason for anyone to cancel. Their lack of professionalism was quite disappointing. Please use all due caution in doing business with this company.

Our experience with Kahn’s was outstanding. Like many 2020 couples, events forced us to adapt and evolve, but Heidi and Steven—each of whom handled our account—did a fantastic job navigating us through the process. They met any question with a prompt response and were readily available to meet with us in-person or over the phone to double-check details, walk us through cost estimates, and outline how their staff would operate the day off.
As for our reception, we can’t commend them enough. Steven and his team went above and beyond to make sure our reception was everything we dreamed of

The food and service was amazing, they were so accommodating and helped us figure out exactly what we wanted! During these difficult times of COVID -19 I was worried on how my special day would play out but the staff at Khans Catering went above and beyond to make our special day just more special! Terrible customer service. The pandemic caused Kahn's to cancel catering events and they, unlike other smart customer friendly firms, tried to keep our deposit. They dragged their feet and didn't return all the money.
Beware. There are better places that will work with you and not leave you in the lurch.
The very young assistant we had also left in the middle and did a poor handoff. All in all, we will NEVER use them again. So many better choices that care about their customers.
UPDATE: They've agreed to refund deposit, though I'm still out legal fees. I will update further

Kahn's catered our daughter's wedding at the Scottish Rite Cathedral and the event was perfect. The food tasted delicious-rosemary orange chicken with roasted garlic cream sauce, green peas and spinach Parmesan risotto and honey glaze marble carrots! One topping at the sundae bar was chocolate covered bacon! Guests raved about the appetizers too-Lamb chops, duck egg rolls, Korean meatballs, shrimp shooters.
The dinner experience was par to a top of the line, fancy restaurant.

Their menu selection is amazing. They do have special occasion packages for minimum 25 guest I think was running for $69 per person, but pricing was vary by which package you pick. They do offer services for : wedding ceremony, wedding reception, rehearsal dinner, vow renewal celebration more. If you go to their website it's amazing how easily you can take a look and see what their offering and how much would it be. I can only say highly recommended this company to anyone ! Kahn&apos

Kahn's Catering did a fabulous job with our 10/28/17 wedding and made sure everything went smoothly and without a hitch! We received rave reviews from our guests on the tasty appetizers, chicken, salmon, and late night snacks. More importantly, Jenny Oden and her team were extremely organized, helpful, and accommodating leading up to the event, which made planning a breeze and stress-free. Our organization used Kahn's to cater our conference reception at the Eiteljorg Museum this spring. The food was wonderful and the pre-planning process went well. Our Kahn's staff was very accommodating in helping us ensure the event fell within our budget and make sure we had a good variety of food and beverages for our guests.

I attended a business conference "mixer" at the IMA a few weeks ago, which I guess uses Kahn's Catering for their catering. I go to a lot of events like this, and I've been fed a lot of "catering" food, some good... some I have would have spit out if I could.
This, though, was amazing, and to be honest, my friends who know me know I'm hard to please. If you hear me try to order at a restaurant it takes like 5 minutes just asking about menu items, preparations, etc!

I attended an event at the Eiteljorg Museum and had some of the best catered food ever! In particular, I loved the braised short ribs which were so good that I inquired about who the caterer was. I contacted them for the recipe and they kindly shared it with me. I'm telling you that they were perfect and so flavorful that I had to stop myself from filling my plate too often. Kudos to Kahns! I'm a huge fan.

A PR person contacted me and after I gave her the details of the wedding she explained the bride chose to have it cooked rare since they can easily cook it longer but can't uncook it. While I understand that philosophy, if that was honestly the plan, shouldn't the servers have said something? Plus, who wants to be 'that guy' to send a plate back while a guest at a wedding? I've been to my fair share of weddings and black tie dinners, I would have never thought it was appropriate to send the food back and can't say I've ever witnessed anyone do such a thing
