Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home
You will find us to be a family owned funeral home for three generations serving Piqua and Miami and Shelby counties. The Tree of Life created for our logo is indicative of our focus on hope and the expectations of a new season that follows the challenging times of our lives. We are dedicated to the tomorrow which we all experience, finding ourselves continuing to give meaning to life to those around us.
Services
At Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home, we take great pride in caring for our families, and will work tirelessly to provide you with a beautiful, lasting tribute to your loved one. In addition to the services we offer, you will receive an online memorial that you can share with family and friends. While honoring your loved one is our top priority, we also want to help you through this difficult time.
At Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home, we encourage families to consider allowing the life of an individual to shine over the natural somberness of their death. To honor one's life is to let their characteristics define them, not our lingering thoughts of their final days. Our mission is to assist you in acknowledging the death of one who is loved and celebrate their life.
From the northwest: Travel southeast on State Rt. 66 into Piqua, where it becomes Broadway. Follow Broadway until it splits at a "Y". Veer to the right following Broadway Rt. 66 veers to the left. Continue driving on Broadway until you reach High Street. Turn left on High Street and the funeral home will be just ahead on your right.
Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home has evolved as a result of a family commitment to serve the Piqua area as funeral service professionals. Thomas J. Jamieson, Sr. and his wife Erma founded the Jamieson Funeral Home in 1940. The original funeral home was located at 512 N. Main St. and was the seventh funeral home in Piqua at that time.
Our new funeral home facility opened in the Fall of 2008 and was designed with a home atmosphere to accommodate your family and guests. This warm setting and home characteristics allow for your comfort and relaxation when it is most appreciated. Ample off-street parking is available and our central location has proven to be convenient for those in our community and those guests arriving from out of town.

Everyone to a person is caring and thoughtful in all that they do. My family was treated with the utmost respect and courtesy during what was a very difficult time. Mike, Susan, Ben and the entire staff addressed every detail, which allowed us to focus on our families.

Our family has worked with Jamieson and Yannucci on two unfortunate occasions now and both times they have made a very difficult situation as easy as it could be for our family. They go out of their way to ensure the family and those grieving are able to make tough decisions as easy as they possibly can. Very professional, dedicated, and caring team. For us they even traveled in the middle of the night to Lewis Center and back to take care of our grandmother. Four hours round trip on an early Saturday/Sunday morning. incredible commitment. We worked with Ben directly with the passing of my grandmother

Mike Yannucci and the staff at Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home has taken care of our family’s funeral needs since the early 1980s. Their kindness, compassion, and professionalism is unparalleled and we will be forever grateful for their support after the recent passing of our Mother, Helen Casto. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Im kind of half way with this while I witnessed and awesome experience with Ben and am very happy he is now a partner. I had a very different experience with Mike not to say bad but if there were things I could go back and stand my ground on I would have rather than always feel like I was pushed or over persuaded to do something when I wanted something else to happen I guess hindsights 20/20 and next time I will open my mouth more and be adamant.

Wow is all I can say about these guys! From day 1 of my dads passing they have hugged me, called me and made sure everything was the way our dad and family wanted his life to be remembered as! It was a year ago yesterday and I was feeling down as I open the mail I seen they sent me a thinking of you card! It brightened my day and I sent a pic to my sisters and they too was very thankful! We all live in Indiana and dad was in Ohio. I could call them up no matter the time or the question I had. They was kind, loving, caring and treated us all like we mattered! Please if you want your loved one to

There are not enough wonderful adjectives in the English language to describe how fantastic Ben Zimmerman was to me and my family. If it is possible to make an absolutely horrible situation pleasant - he did that. He went above and beyond and helped us to create something unique and special to celebrate the life of our Dad. I came to love Ben pretty much in a matter of minutes and consider him to be a lifelong friend. When the right person is in the right position, magic happens and I cannot recommend Ben highly enough.

Our family is so grateful for the caring and compassion we received from Jamieson and Yannucci following my dad, John Leese's, passing on February 24, 2019. While we know my dad was a Christian and we know he is celebrating in Heaven, it is never an easy time. The entire staff was so kind and took care of everything in a professional way and in a way that made it much more comfortable to deal with.
A special thank you to the entire staff and to Jim, who came to the hospital after my dad passed and took time to pray with our family which we will never forget and was there throughout that time and

Even though my mother was up there in years, her death a few years ago was sudden and totally unexpected. Mike stepped in and immediately addressed all of our needs.
Just now taking time to reflect on it. I want to personally thank Mike, Sue And the entire staff For being there when we needed them.
Our family cannot thank them enough.
