"I wish I had known how horrible property management was going to be before I signed a lease. We moved from California, we were promised a remodeled apartment but we got an apartment that was incredibly outdated. When we brought this up to the office they lied to our faces saying they had no remodeled apartments, and then we found out the apartment across from us was vacant and remodeled. When we brought this up to the office they asked us what could they do to make it better. We requested new appliances since all are very dated. They said they would, but only ended up replacing the dishwasher

This was my first residence after high school. I lived on the third floor and found that most nights the noise from the hall (and other apartments) can keep one up in the night.
The parking is not plowed in the winter! Only the sidewalks... This is burdensome during a heavy winter...
The appliance are exactly the same as that when my cousin lived there in the early 2000s - and they don't work consistently.
Laundry facilities are in the center of each building, which I did not use due to mistreatment and the lack of a cleaning effort. Which are also the same case for the halls and stairs, which

Had the worst experience with Jillian Square. Staff is rude and will walk in on you without permission when they think everyone is out of town. They towed our car, would barely fix their half way working appliances. It’s hard being stuck in a year lease with a new born when you do not feel safe. I would not recommend anyone living there!

So far i haven't had any issues with the apartment. Yes some of the appliances seem older but its well worth it and they will come work on it if it becomes broken. The only real complaint I have with the place is that I can hear my neighbors if they are loud but that seems like a small price to pay for a really nice quality apartment.

Bunch of crooks. The apartments look nice but the equipment is old as hell and barely works. The process to move out is extensive as hell and you're bound to pay several grand no matter what. Everything is outrageously expensive. Not worth the 1300 dollars for rent. Find a different place around town because this should not be your choice

Normally I wouldn't write a review of some place I haven't lived in nearly 10 years. But considering that I had a friend live here a couple of years ago, I can say with 100% confidence that nothing has changed.
If you're new to Fairbanks (or should I say Fort Wainwright) stop looking for luxury apartments. They don't exist this far north. This place is fairly bare bones, but that doesn't mean it's bad. Yes, you're going to have to pay for laundry, but at least your mail boxes are inside.
This place isn't great, but it's not nearly as bad as some of the reviews say.
