We care about your pet, and their well being. The utmost care goes into providing your four legged family member with the best options. We offer routine screenings, well visits, puppy and kitty vaccinations, as well as many diagnostic services. While your pet is in our care, we closely monitor them and see to it that they are as comfortable as possible during their visit or stay.

When you check in with our front desk you'll be greeted by one of our friendly and courteous team members.
Treat your pet to a luxurious bath. Our special, cleansing baths remove dirt, debris and that doggie pet odor your pet will feel fresh and revitalized. If scratching is a problem, our medicated baths contain soothing agents that stop the itching. Services also include nail trim and ear cleaning. Illness doesn't always have a physical cause.

I am a brand new client who was referred to this Clinic after several bad experiences. From the phone to the time I picked up my babies everyone was amazing! They went far above and beyond. I needed records from another facility and they got my permission and took care of the entire thing for me. I cannot say enough about this clinic. Service is amazing!

I trust your doctors and staff completely. It doesn't feel like a money grab. The staff behind the desks and the veterinarian aides are all personable, compassionate and helpful. I took my little fur baby, Coco, to this vet when she was not feeling well. The staff was extremely professional and friendly. The vet was very detailed in explaining everything to us and what we needed to do to help her get well quickly. I will continue to take by baby to this facility for all her vet needs.

I cannot recommend this place enough for taking care of our kitty! We basically rescued Kitty after she had been abandoned by another family. We had no idea how old she was and honestly, we didn't know any of… her history. She hadn't been to the vet in years of at all. They were so patient with handling her. I was a nervous wreck but they were good to us emotionally, physically, and financially! I cannot thank their practice enough! Thank you for loving these fur babies so much!

We have quite a few pets and have had very good and professional service from the people in the hospital. This last Monday we took our 10(?) week old kitten in for a few shots and the doctor who took care of him was holding him and petting like he was her pet. She even gave him a few kitty treats at the end. We also have two dogs and the vets have been great with them as well. Literally no complaints.

Appointments are kept promptly. Vet and staff are professional and caring. When treatment is needed you are given a choice of treatment plans and cost before they begin. You receive a detailed copy of all treatment at the time of the visit and well check comments and recommendations for future needs. No pressure for purchasing products or medications that they have available in the office. I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else. Thank you Beaver Crossing!

I love the caring and knowledgeable staff, they are always so patient and welcoming. My dog is super nervous about vets and boarding but the staff goes above and beyond to make him comfortable. I've gone here for years now and always have a positive experience.

Beaver Crossing Animal Hospital is the most amazing veterinarian clinic out there. They took care of my sweet girl right before she died, and they made a donation to UGA in her memory. Now, I have a new little guy, and they are just as wonderful to him! Dr. Smith is amazing, as is the entire staff! Highly recommend!!

The vets at this clinic do not care about the life of pets they almost killed my dog doing surgery feel no responsibility for their actions only about the money spent with them won't pay medical expenses I have from their actions which now due to going to emergency is thousands of $ I could have lost my capanion & family BEWARE get SECOND opinions

This was the first time I had been to Beaver Crossing Animal Hospital. It was recommended to me by a close friend.
I took one of my cats there. Turns out he had an upper respiratory infection.
The staff were wonderful, friendly, professional, and pleasant.
The doctor knew what he was doing. His assistant helped keep my beloved cat calm. My cat didn't even seem to notice the injections.
On my way out, I spoke with a woman who said she had been bringing her pets to Beaver Crossing Animal Hospital for 25 years. She said she would never bring her pets anywhere else, despite having moved three times

My wife took our new addition there and right off the bat, the doctor apparently dropped her on the floor, causing our dog to not trust him and then the Doc wanted to muzzle her (no other dogs were muzzled). Later the Doc told my wife "this will never be a good pet, you will probably have to euthanize her at some point" and "this is a vicious mean attack dog" and will "not make a good pet" lol this is one of the best dogs I have ever had. She has some personality issues (as she was a shelter dog and was on the street for a while). However, she is house trained

After moving from North Decatur, where we went to a vet office that did a great job but didn't have great communication, were often unavailable to consult, and seemed to overcharge, we were happy to find Beaver Crossing when our pup had issues recently.
During the first visit, the vet and tech came in together and really seemed to love our dog (I'm sure they're that way with ALL the animals, but it still made us feel like she was in good hands). Our last vet office did not allow us to go back with the animals, even pre-pandemic, so it was nice to be able to stay in the room together

We have been going to Beaver Crossing for over 28 years since we moved to Ga. We now drive 30 minutes to go to Beaver Crossing and do so gladly. Dr. Smith is an amazing, patient, understanding and a compassionate doctor. He has always been upfront with any issues we've had with our pets. Their staff is also super friendly and helpful!!

I called to 12 local vets to find a vet for my 2 dogs and I narrowed it down to 2 that I would take my dogs to. I based my decision on politeness of the receptionist, amount they charged for vaccinations, check ups ect., how knowledgeable the receptionist was and reviews. I could not believe at how many asked me why I needed to know the pricing, were rude and had to look up basic questions.
Well I took my 2 dogs in today to get to know the vet and to get some heart-worm and flea prescriptions. It was very affordable, all the staff was friendly and helpful! We have found a new vet to take

About a year ago my dog Andy had an incident one morning where he could barely walk and his back leg was shaking. I had noticed that he was slowing down but he was 14 years old. I called my usual vet practice but they had an issue that day and couldn't see Andy. They knew I was scared and really needed him to be seen by a professional so they referred me to Beaver Crossing.

We absolutely love Dr. Smith and his team at Beaver Crossing Animal Hospital. We started taking both our dogs, Juno and Abbie, there a few years ago because initially it was very convenient. We loved how professional and friendly the staff and doctors are and also how accommodating they are to fit us into their schedule when we call. The exams are always thorough and never rushed. And everyone there is great with our dogs. Last year we moved thirty minutes away but we still make the drive to see them because it's well worth the effort. We highly recommend them for your pets!
