Services
Counseling sessions provide a safe and confidential environment for survivors to express their feelings, thoughts, and fears. Counselors utilize nonjudgmental techniques as they listen and help survivors work through issues they may be experiencing. FamilyTime employs a trauma informed approach to aid clients in the healing process.
FamilyTime's shelter (The Door) is a place for temporary safe housing as well as the start of the healing process for survivors. The shelter can be an extremely powerful tool for empowering residents. The Door houses up to 38 survivors (men and women) of family violence and sexual assault and their children in a safe and nurturing environment.
FamilyTime provides case management services to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Case managers organize and coordinate a network of formal and informal activities, services, and supports designed to optimize the well-being of each client. Throughout the case management process, case managers act with consideration for the individual's cultural beliefs, interests, wishes, needs, and values.
FamilyTime's legal advocates can provide assistance and support to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault as they engage with the criminal or civil legal system. These services include obtaining and enforcing personal protection orders, pursuing divorce and child custody issues, other criminal matters as a result of the abuse.

Remembering what my tragedy was to qualify to enter Familytime; I will attest the Advocates, Leadership, Maintenance and Supporting staff are qualified and greatly skilled individuals. All were sensitive and understanding "possibly with relatable life experiences". I was a woman terrified and in deep shock with the feeling my very breath had been stolen. When I arrived at Familytime I had suffered major recent tragedies I care not to mention. Therapy coupled with a case worker and other tools; carefully guided me through, basic fundamental steps to help "me". I didn't see it at the time but there

Wow I see so many bad reviews from over the years but my experience was totally different. I was referred to them by a family member. Although I couldn’t get financial assistance immediately my counselor kept in contact and came through in the clutch. I left with way more than I expected. Thank you guys so much. 💜🙏🏾

Great people, excellent services and overall great place for women and families to come when they need help leaving domestic violence situation. They do their best with the tools and resources available. I've been a volunteered with FamilyTime for over 10 years and seen what great work they do. I enjoy helping you this organization.
