Susan Rapant has more than twenty-five years' experience as a certified, professional vocational rehabilitation counselor. Her career began in 1991 in New York, where she facilitated treatment groups, provided counseling, and developed a treatment program to assist people coping with substance abuse problems and to help them live more independent lives by securing gainful employment.
We provide career exploration and counseling, vocational testing, transferable skills assessment, resume development, job search training, mock interviews, and return to work coordination. We have a proven track record in assisting people in finding employment. We offer extensive experience in vocational and medical case management for workers' compensation claims in Texas and other states.
Susan holds a Master of Arts degree in vocational rehabilitation counseling from New York University, and is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, Certified Disability Management Specialist, and Certified Case Manager. Prior to entering private practice, Susan was a Vocational Rehabilitation Coordinator for The Hartford in Houston for 6 years, responsible for design and implementation of their innovative return to work program.
