Boulder Country Day School will host a high school fair for all Boulder County middle school students. This is the eighth year that Boulder Country Day has held this event. This year will again be attended by local and regional public and private schools, as well as boarding schools from across the nation.
Community has been a hallmark of our school for many years, and it's something we cultivate with intention. We wish them all the best. Head of School, John Suitor, had the opportunity to share BCD's story of community and resilience on the Redesigning Normal podcast. BCD congratulates Head of Preschool, Kath Courter, on her acceptance into the Buell Foundation's Early Childhood Leadership Program.

We moved to Boulder mid-pandemic with our Kindergartener and found a true home at BCD - a place where our little guy has thrived as both a student and citizen. We were welcomed by a community of engaged and positive parents, faculty, and staff. The specials teachers are talented and enthusiastic, and we love that kids are exposed to two languages starting in preschools. Our two younger children will join him this coming school year. We're so happy to have found BCD!

We hadn't expected to enroll our child in a private school but felt that the public options wouldn't offer the type of challenge, engagement, safety and community that we were looking for. After an extensive (and exhausting!) search, a friend mentioned that her coworker used to sit on the board of BCD and that it seemed like a special place. She suggested that we check it out before making a final decision.
We toured the school and met with the wonderful Admissions Director, Susan Boyle, who offered a refreshing sincere interest in helping us determine if BCD was the right fit, rather

BCD is truly exceptional. Everything from the teachers and administrators, to the level of communication, to the parents and families at the school -- every aspect of Boulder Country Day is amazing.
I didn't think it was possible to care as much as the teachers and administrators do at BCD. They're thoughtful, kind, compassionate, and smart. There is a strong math, science, reading, and language presence throughout the campus. Our very young daughter can sing in French already!
Dropoffs are fun and easy. The hours are great. Super creative afterschool classes - I'm an especially

Our children started BCD at the age of three and stayed through middle school. The most important thing I think that BCD taught our kids was to love learning. Right from the beginning, it was fun and engaging, and that has continued through the years. We recently transitioned one child into high school, and I have been very pleased to see how seemingly easy her transition has been. As I listen to other parents talk about their children experiencing a bit of shell shock with new work loads, expectations of time management, and taking over managing themselves for the most part, I am feeling a whole

Our son has attended BCD's preschool program for two years and had a wonderful experience. Our daughter started in the 2.5 year old program there and will be attending in the fall. Each teacher we have encountered has been caring, focused, well-trained and ready to work with each child on their individual strengths. The literacy-based program is a great fit for us - our children are already starting to read, but also have plenty of time for free play, art, music and languages. Their facility is top-notch, including the playground. Highly recommended.

Our family has been attending Boulder Country Day for sixteen years. Our daughter, Logan started in the three year old Pre-K class, and attended through the eighth grade. She is now a Senior at Fairview High School, and preparing to head off to college in the Fall of 2016. She was prepared academically to thrive in high school. Her favorite memories are French/nine years, Latin/five years and Spanish for three years. Her Advanced Mathematics classes guided her to her future profession, Engineering and Applied Math.

We moved our child from Waldorf in the second grade because we felt she was falling behind in the basics compared to her peers who were not in Waldorf. We didn't realize how behind she really was until we were faced with her attending BCD and working in a truly, real world, academic environment. It has taken her almost two years to catch up and countless hours of tutoring and genuine support of the school. In this regard, the teachers and administration have gone out of their way to create a safe, supportive environment and one on one attention that has allowed our daughter to gain both the skills
