My name is Dr. Kathleen Saturay and I am the owner of Healthy Smiles by Dr. Saturay. I am passionate and dedicated to delivering beautiful, healthy smiles through my dentistry in a calm and nurturing environment. After graduating in 1996 from the School of Dentistry, University of the Philippines I immigrated to Seattle and worked as a Lead Dental Assistant for 8 years.
The office is closed on Sunday. Every other Saturday is available by appointment only. You are able to request an appointment from this website by submitting a request. We will schedule your appointment as promptly as possible. If you have pain or an emergency situation, every attempt will be made to see you that day.
It is our goal for patients to clearly understand their treatment needs, as well as their financial responsibility before treatment begins. We desire to make dental treatment affordable to all our patients. We offer a 5% discount for payment in full by cash or check for SELF PAY patients and a Senior discount of 10% for age 65 and over.
Your initial appointment will consist of cavity detecting x-rays, diagnostic photos and a thorough examination by Dr. Saturay. Once all information is gathered and reviewed, Dr. Saturay will provide you with your diagnosis and treatment options. However, a complex treatment plan may require a second visit in order to go over all the best options available to you.

We have been going to Dr. Saturay for years and she had the best dental hygenist in the world: Sean as described in other reviews the Mr. Rodgers of dentistry. She has had a tremendous turnover in staff in the past year and Sean left a few months ago. At my six-month checkup this year the dental hygenist in training could not take proper images of my teeth. When he received help from another hygenist they took pictures again of my mouth and said: "that's good enough." I then had to remind them that they had not taken X-rays of the left side of my mouth. Those images were not clear

We had been going to Dr Saturay since my child was a year old and felt we lucked out with the best hygienist for kids that I've ever run into. Sean had an incredible rapport and ease with kids; he was the Mr Rogers of the dental world! Dr Saturay is rather intense but thorough, so we felt like we were in good hands even though, as my son got older, her tone, manner, and words severely worried and scared him (even with absolutely nothing of immediate concerns to address in his mouth!!). (Many things she asked me with a tone of extreme gravity, could have been asked outside of his earshot).

Dr. Saturay is absolutely wonderful. The offices are sparkling, the assistants are very capable and kind, and the front office staff is delightful. It is rather daunting to go in for dental treatment, but Dr. Saturay and staff made the experience very easy for me. I very highly recommend Dr. Saturay.

Dr. Saturay and her team are wonderful! I was having issues with my previous dentist where fillings were falling out after a couple of months so I found Dr. Saturay maybe 6 years ago and never looked back.
I then had a root canal a couple of years back around Thanksgiving and Dr. Saturay and her team got me in for an emergency visit. They made sure I was able to get an appointment in with an endodontist after hours because the infection made my face swell up and they were worried it was going to spread to my brain. Thank you Dr. Saturay!

This office does a great job of fully educating patients about the condition of their teeth so you feel informed and involved in your treatment plan. You’ll see lots of photos of your teeth which is so helpful for understanding the impact of taking care of your dental health. I really appreciate this high level of communication!

Dr. Saturay and her entire team are just amazing. It's not only the technical expertise & true professionalism, but the empathy. I had not visited a dentist for awhile due to painful experiences and being made to feel bad for expressing discomfort. Many years ago I made an appointment with Dr. Saturay and was so stressed out! I left knowing I was on the right path back to total dental health! And when I"ve had a procedure involving drills or grinders, they totally support my need to feel zero discomfort... VERY compassionate!!

We were able to schedule an emergency appointment for a tooth abscess and my girlfriend Kierra was treated promptly and very well. She is typically very fearful of the dentist, but the atmosphere is comfortable and helped her get through it. Diana was a great patient specialist and the setting was very modern. Great experience. Really appreciated the attentiveness of the staffs at this office. From the receptionists to dental hygienist (shout out to Martina) to the doctors themselves. Great team and atmosphere. Love this state of the art dental facility and their Amazing staff! I did have a concern a while back and they immediately worked to resolve it, which I really appreciated. I love this practice. I’ve been to many dentists in my life as I’ve moved a lot and have problem teeth. This is an exceptional dental practice. Not only does Dr Saturay treat patients with respect and empathy but everyone I’ve encountered in the practice does the same! The entire office is beautiful and new, freshly decorated and pleasant to be in. Honestly I enjoy going in for a cleaning which is a new experience for me! Visiting the dentist has never been a fun experience for me. I dread it, but know it needs to happen, so I go. But this has to be the best, and dare I say, most enjoyable visit I've ever had!
I originally called up another dental clinic covered by my new insurance company, but they were booked out two months. They recommended this one, that is owned and operated by Dr. Saturay, who previously worked there. They not only accepted my insurance but were able to get me in the next day!

I was given a temp crown, which still hurts, while being referred to two specialists. My old dentist thinks a permeated crown will work and no need for surgery. After spending a lot of money, I'm going back to my old dentist. I just wish my old dentist was not so popular so I can get an appointment faster.

After finally getting dental through my employer I decided it was time at 23 to finally go to the dentist by myself. I made sure to ask about my insurance coverage and what I would need to pay out of pocket for each of the services that were reccommended to me and was given an *estimate* as to what those charges would be before I made an appointment for any service.

I've been seeing Shawn, my hygienist, and Dr. Saturay for over 4 years now and the preventative care routine that we follow has not let me down so far! I haven't had any dental issues since I've started seeing them, my teeth have actually improved, and have always been taken seriously when I've had any dental concerns. They are friendly with a sense of humor, which I value especially when doing the Ultrasonic power cleaning :)

Dr Saturay replaced a filling of a tooth she said was cracked. I was later informed by a different dentist that the tooth was never cracked and she was looking to profit off me. My filling took an hour 1/2 where she kept leaving the room and arguing with her assistants. The tooth never has been the same since. It was uneven and I went back to have her fix it, where she just started randomly drilling away at it , making it even worse. 2 dentists later I got it fixed . 4 months of tooth aches, and pain for her shotty work. don't go to her!!

I had a cracked filling and my prior dentist couldn't see me for 3 weeks (really?!), so I reached out to Dr. Saturay's office and they were able to get me in within 24 hours! They were very friendly and went above and beyond in order to get me in. I am a convert and will stick with Dr. Saturay from now on!
FYI: There are actually 3 dentists within this office that work as a team (all female, if that matters to anyone). This allows them to offer great office hours--Monday thru Friday and even some Saturdays!

Dr. Saturay is awesome! Her staff is always friendly, office is always clean and tidy. Emily, one of the Dental Hygienists, is awesome! She's very friendly and has great energy. Going to the dentist can sometimes feel uncomfortable or terrifying for some and I always feel welcomed and at ease when I go in for a cleaning at her office.

Hands down, best dentist for my family. I am so sad we moved to a different state because her team took exceptional care of my children's teeth. Full, thorough cleanings for my daughter who had multiple cavities. Great consultation for my husband and his issues.
I know now, especially because I'm having a really hard time finding a dentist and hygienist who actually care and clean my kids' teeth in the new state.
