Akamai Recovery Maui is proud to have received its CARF Accreditation in 2017 for Alcohol and Other Drugs/Addictions Rehabilitation Programs: Day Treatment, Intensive Outpatient Treatment, and Outpatient Treatment. Akamai Recovery Maui offers a variety of outpatient services, which are designed to meet the individual treatment needs of its clients.
Registration - Registration is the first step for the client in accessing services. The registration process includes completion of the documents necessary to open the client's case and a determination of financial resources available for payment of fees. Urine Toxicology Screening - May be done at the point of intake, and are randomly performed throughout the entire duration of treatment services.

Our group sessions are conducted by certified substance abuse counselors (CSAC) who educate our clients using evidence-based treatment lessons, while discussing topics which include crisis and relapse prevention, stress reduction, conflict resolution, relaxation and coping skills.Every client's treatment plan is individualized to meet their specific treatment needs and reviewed weekly by our clinical team.
