At IHS, our mission is to improve students' potential to achieve and maintain wellness by reducing and addressing barriers to care. Our School Based Health Centers (SBHCs) allow uninsured and underinsured children and families to receive evidence-based comprehensive and preventive health care services to school-aged children and adults.
These SBHCs have yielded measurable improvements in our students' behavioral, physical, and dental health metrics, while also minimizing the amount of school they miss to address their health care needs. Watch how we make an impact on the lives of so many children by bridging the gap between education and healthcare.
