Mission Church of the Nazarene began serving the Mid-City area of San Diego in 1917. In 1975 we relocated to our present campus. From the early years the heartbeat of our congregation has been to serve the entire family. Part of that vision has been a dream of this local church to offer a high-quality preschool as a service to our community.
Mission Nazarene Preschool offers admission to children ages 6 weeks through five years old, who are developmentally ready for its program, without regard to race, religion, gender, or national origin. You'll also find it helpful to review our schedule, calendar, and curriculum guide as you consider enrolling your child with us.
Mission Nazarene Preschool creates the curriculum around a play-based environment. We strongly believe that children learn about the world around them through hands-on experiences. Our curriculum was designed to be taught in a particular order necessary to develop pre-writing and pre-reading skills.
All of our menus at Mission Nazarene Preschool are designed to provide a healthy and well balance presentation of nutritional and tasty meals and snacks. Our snacks are provided as part of tuition fees. We offer a lunch plan for those parents who wish to take advantage of such a program for an additional fee.
