As a health care professional, I am quite particular about whom I choose for my own care. Dr. Hutner has a pleasant demeanor, is caring and is attentive to my needs and to the needs of my wife. The atmosphere in his office is just what we like given the tendency for practices to grow into “overly large operations” these days. Dr. Hutner and his staff are excellent! I made my first appointment for a cleaning in February 2020 and was very impressed with Dr. Hutner and his staff. He was very upfront and honest about my teeth and was able to address an issue I had while I was getting my cleaning done. Also, he did my first cleaning as a new patient to the practice.

Made an appointment last year for a cleaning and was beyond impressed with the staff and Dr. Hutner. He's incredibly personal and and his staff was kind and friendly. Stephanie was incredibly helpful with getting my dental records and answering my questions. Dr. Hutner was pleasant, but unfortunately their billing department is a mess. They said I was all set and fully covered by insurance at the time, but never got my insurance information (verbatim "all set, it's covered by insurance" ) and they waited a full calendar year to bill. I've since got a new job, finding insurance information from over a year ago was a huge hassle. They did not apologize for wasting my time or even acknowledge how badly they dropped the ball. Ever since I was referred to and started going to Dr. Hutner on a regular basis, my teeth and mouth have not had any issues and irritations. I've done checkups, cleanings, xrays, scaling, extractions, and whatever else and have had a pleasant experience.
If you anticipate and kind of discomfort during your procedure and let him know, he will complete the procedure without you even noticing anything at all.
The office is convenient to the C line. If you're driving and are lucky enough, there are free 2 hour parking along the sidewalks.

I've been going to Dr. Hutner for 10+ years and have always been very happy with his care, and also the quality of dental hygienists and front desk staff. Now that I have children I like that he has a toy section in the waiting room and that they make cleanings very toddler-friendly by letting them watch cartoons on the monitor and making it a fun experience.

I have been going to Dr Hutners off and on for 20 plus years. I have went to other Dental offices for checkups and cleanings due to location convenience, but keep finding myself back at Dr Hutners' and additionally recommending family and friends.

This is my first time going to a dentist in MA and Dr. Hunter and his team was wonderful. The hygienist that cleaned my teeth knew what she was doing and was very gentle. She even gave me helpful hints on how to floss my teeth since they are so close together.
Dr. Hutner did a few fillings for me in the weeks to come and he was very informative before he started the process. He was gentle in my mouth, and asked me questions to keeps me comfortable as he worked in my mouth.

I loved visiting Dr. Hutner. I went in for a yearly checkup after many years not visiting a dentist. Setting up the appointment was SUPER easy! His staff is so nice and extremely helpful when it comes to insurance matters.
The actual appointment went great! Dr. Hutner actually explains what he is doing and why he was doing it. Luckily I had no dental issues, but I am so glad I found a dentist that I truly believe takes my dental health as seriously as I do....even if I don't floss as often as I should.

Went to stupid Gentle Dental and was told I had three cavities that needed to be treated with a potential extraction. Went to Dr. Hutner for a second opinion only to find out that I had ONE cavity. Dr. Hutner treated that one cavity and I didn't even need a root canal, nonetheless an extraction.
Everyone who works at Dr. Hutner's office is super nice. You can tell that Dr. Hutner is the best because there are a lot of younger kids that frequent the office. You know that the dentist is good if many parents trust their kids in Dr. Hutner's hands.

Wonderful dentist. Staff is fabulous and does a great job. Friendly and makes you feel very comfortable. I had a crown done and the Saturday after I had a terrible tooth ache. I called the office and there was an option to page the dr. He answered right away while he was at dinner and met me in the office.

I've been a patient of Dr. Hutner's for about 7 years. He's an excellent dentist- always explains things clearly, never rushes you, and really focuses on preventative care. I really like his current dental hygienist, Angela. She is very friendly, gentle, and does a very thorough job. You can tell that everyone who works there really loves what they do. It makes going to the dentist that much easier since everyone makes you feel at ease. Their new office at 1842 Beacon St. is still conveniently located on the C-line, and the new offices are spacious and brightly lit.

I wanted a second opinion and visited Dr. Hutner because my friends RAVED about him -- and he was wonderful. He told me I had 2, but almost 3 cavities and filled them in. He also told me more about how to avoid having more problems in the future, and he didn't hurt me or make me wait. His staff is flexible, personable, kind and professional...Great experience.

I relocated to Boston a year ago and was overwhelmed with the number of dentists in Brookline. I am so happy that I chose Dr. Hutner. His office is so pleasant - clean with beautiful views, a relaxing atmosphere, and friendly staff. Dr. Hutner is so kind, knowledgeable, gentle, and honest.
