Dr. Selmer attended Indiana University and earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology. He then attended The University of Iowa College of Dentistry for his dental training. Afterwards, he completed a residency in Hospital and General Dentistry at The University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital.
He has worked exclusively with geriatric and special needs patients since 2007. Dr. Selmer coordinates and treats patients with involvement from family and caregivers in mind. Providing care in the comfort of the place that someone calls home is our primary goal. We have state of the art mobile dental equipment that we can bring to your home or other place of residence.

We just had a fantastic experience with Dr. Selmer, of Total Comfort Mobile Dental Care.
My 86 year old mother, who is homebound, was complaining of a tooth hanging in the back of her mouth. Since it is difficult to get her to a dentist, we were worried about what we were going to do. We were so lucky to be referred to Dr. Selmer. He called ahead to let us know when he would be there. He arrived with all of his sterile wrapped dental instruments, assessed my mothers situation, explained everything he was going to do to her, and removed the teeth, all while she laid in her recliner.
