The Stephen J Sherman Funeral Home was established in 1981 at 82 Euclid Ave. Sharon, PA. From that location Mr. Sherman also owned and operated Sherman Ambulance Service Inc. for 13 years. Then in 1998 Mr. Sherman relocated the funeral home to its present location at 2201 Highland Rd. Hermitage, PA.
Traditional Burial: This type of service is when arrangements are made to have a visitation and funeral ceremony, followed by burial or entombment at the cemetery. Direct Burial: This service is when arrangements are made to inter or entomb the deceased in a cemetery without having any ceremony or visitation.

The basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces.
