Dr. Wansky has been with the practice since 1994, working at our sister hospitals, Etowah and Trickum Ridge, until helping to open Allatoona in 1998.

Many of our team members have been with us for 10 years or more. Our baths will remove dirt, debris and that doggie/kitty odor. Your pet will leave feeling refreshed and smelling and feeling great! If scratching is a problem, our medicated baths contain soothing agents to help stop the itching. We offer a Basic Bath which includes bathing and brushing, and our Spa Bath which includes bathing, brushing, nail trimming, anal gland expression, and ear cleaning.
For those pets who need routine professional cleaning, we adhere to the American Animal Hospital Association's (AAHA) guidelines for dental procedures to improve the safety and outcome of these procedures. If you are unsure of the level of dental care your pet needs, we offer a courtesy oral health assessment with one of our Registered Veterinary Technicians.

I've been taking my pets here for 3 years. I have a senior dog and they have alternative medicines. Dr Wansky is doing accupuncture for my dogs mobilty after she gets lazer therapy to help with her arthritis. They know Rio when she comes in. They seem to know every pet's name when they come in. Rio also goes to their sister clinic for chiropractor adjustments. They are simply great.

The most amazing people. They didn’t have any appointments available and made room to squeeze us in. We had to put our baby down which is one of the hardest things to do and they made sure to get us in the same day and were more than nice and compassionate. I’m so thankful for their staff. Highly recommended.

On 10/09/21, I took one of my senior pets in for euthanasia. As pets owners can attest, making this decision is hard enough. The vet’s office shouldn’t make it even harder and more traumatic. As my pet is an exotic, I understood I could not be with her during the actual procedure, so I walked up to the desk to pay and was told the total was $180.00 (plus some change I can’t recall). I asked if the price of euthanasia had gone up and why it was so costly. The receptionists kindly advised me that this was a package that included communal cremation. The technician advised them that I was taking

I highly recommend affordable vet on eagle drive. They are very knowledgeable And not absurdly priced. Allatoona miss diagnosed my pet Ans she almost died because of the treatment and I try ruins given by them! DR.Tyler at Affordable Vet was able to figure out the issue right away And my pets life. The only thing I can recommend here is the groomer Amy that does amazing with my cat.

They are the best today I lost my baby aussie. To her getting hit by the car. They tried everything they could cpr and everything I couldn't . Even take her back home and the kept her for my mom to get her. And even made her paw print my family has been going there for years. And I want to thank DR. HALIE WITTEN she is amazing she personally came out and talked to me today! U guys are the best vets in the world and I'm happy aussie got to meet y'all. Thanks Christina smith!

I m from out of town and my fur babies truly needed haircuts. The staff here was so helpful getting missing parts of their records and the dogs looked fantastic. One if my babies has been extremely abused and does not take kindly to strangers. She greeted me upon pickup without the stress I normally see with her home groomer. Couldn't find anything negative to say. A fantastic visit and just booked second groom

The staff couldn't be any sweeter! The dr. and staff were welcoming and very sweet. They answered all of our questions and concerns in an very pleasant and easy manner.
The building was very clean and well kept up.
We frequently use their boarding service for our dogs. They are treated so well, and we usually pick them up after they have been bathed and groomed.
We will definitely be back here.

I love this place and all of the staff. I have bringing my dogs here, usually to see Dr. Wanksy but I have seen Dr. Landau when she wasn't available.
I have brought four different dogs here since I became a customer, two have since passed. When it was time for my Daisy to cross the Rainbow Bridge, everyone there was so compassionate and they sent us a sympathy card that had a hand written note from each staff member. It is never easy to let one of your furbabies go, but I could not have asked for a more kind and respectful team to support me through it.

Allatoona Animal Hospital is the sister vet to my normal vet a little further north in Waleska. When I asked Waleska for a referral for a groomer and they recommended Amy at Allatoona. My fur baby has been going for 5 months now.
Amy is the best groomer! I drive 45 minutes from Waleska to take my shih tzu puppy to her. She is patient, doesn't mind a wiggly puppy and listens to what my requests are on her hair cuts.
Most dogs fight going to the vet and immediately start shaking right as you walk in the door but not Kelsie. She is always happy to be there and happily greets anyone in the waiting

About 3 weeks ago my mother had to put down her 16 year old dog, and it was a sad day for all of us with her, when we arrived at Allatoona Animal Hospital we were greeted by a VERY rude older women behind the desk who seemed unimpressed with our reasoning for showing up without an appointment. We were aware that without an appointment we would probably have to wait for service and we were totally understanding of it. Before, during, and after the appointment the women was completely inconsiderate of my mothers loss and continued to be rude to us.

My bill was higher than the estimate for 5 days of boarding. The dog came home with diarrhea. I called the Allatoona Animal Hospital. The dog began diarrhea symptoms today. There was no paperwork. The folks there didn't mention it when I picked her up. Possibly the food I supplied was not given as they had a new worker alone to close the day before.

I have been a client with Allatoona Animal Hospital with my Bernese Mountain Dogs since 1999. Obviously I love taking my dogs to this practice. The entire staff is caring and conscientious with both pets and their owners. I see Dr. Wansky for acupuncture, Chinese medicine and regular issues with my dogs and Dr. Highland for chiropractic and regular medicine. I do feed a raw diet to my dogs and minimal vaccines and they are willing to work with me and respect my wishes, as I respect their opinions. When I have had to unfortunately release my dogs from this world, you couldn't have asked

Exceptional - have FIVE LARGE dogs and they have been great to the King German Shepherds (180 lbs) and Malinois. They offer help and even help on keeping the price low for meds telling me which places have lowest prices including online. Went away to another vet, but wound up coming back here just so I can make sure my kids are taken care of.

Love it here! Staff are excellent. So easy to make appointments! Any time there is a problem with one of my animals, I always get right in to see the vet. They care for both of my French bulldogs and my cats. If they give your dog shots or you have a procedure done, you can leave your animal for the day so they can observe them if you need to go to work.
Overnight boarding or day boarding is reasonable and I know my pet is in good hands.

We have been clients of Allatoona for almost 10 years. We have two mini-Schnauzers and Dr Wansky and staff are the only vets we will take them to. The staff is professional and personable. They are very good with our pups. Grooming is also done very well. This is also the only place we will board our pups when we have to be out of town.
I strongly recommend Allatoona Animal Hospital if you live in this area.

I love my dog soooo much and was very nervous to leave him overnight as he has never been anywhere without us and he is 10 yrs. old. The staff and doctors were awesome and made his experience the best it could be. I really appreciate the care and concern they took upon him; it was genuine. Thank you Allatoona Animal Hospital!!!!
