Konen's Service was a family owned business that was started in 1947 in Newport, KY by Fred Konen. He and his two son's ran the business and in 1977 moved to our current location in Bellevue. Rob Pitts worked for the Konen family for four years and in 2005 he took the business over under the new name Konen's Pittstop.

Here at Konen's Pittstop, we want to make sure that we take care of our customers and that means providing exceptional automotive maintenance and repair services. Place was very clean and Mark was very polite, called to explain clearing what my car needed. I have been a happy customer at Konen'sPittstop of Rob, Mark and Tony for almost fifteen (15) years. This is the mechanic you look for to find people who know what they're doing, foster loyalty, and don't bullshit around.
We are expanding at Konen's Pittstop and have 1 position available for an automotive technician. We are an extremely busy shop and believe in working hard and enjoying our time off. The ideal candidate must have some automotive education and at least 2 years' experience. I cannot say better things about my experience at Konen’s. They did a thorough inspection of my car, and Mark explained in detail the items that needed taken care of. The work was completed fast, and I had my car back in no time. Mark & Rob both had great urgency to help, and it is very much appreciated. I will absolutely be back!

Konen's PIttstop was recommended to me by a neighbor and I gave them a try to track down the cause of a "Check Engine Light" plus catch up with some overdue general maintenance. My experience was flawless, from the initial welcome, setting the appointment, diagnosis, updates, service and value. Rob PItts is a a guy you just can't help but trust as soon as you meet him, and my early confidence in him was rewarded. Not going anywhere else in the future.

Great mechanics, and just good guys all around. Had quite a bit of work done and they did everything imaginable to get my car running great, and at fair prices. And if you have any problems they go out of their way to make it right. I wouldn't trust my car to anyone else.

I received Very poor quality work and service at this establishment. They do not stand behind their work, even though they are grossly overpriced. Especially do not patronize this auto mechanic if you are a woman, because they will rob you blind. My advice is to take your business to a more honest and trustworthy mechanic such as Archies’s in Dayton, Kentucky. It’s only a short distance away and they are honest and reasonable.

Here out of town and my check engine light came on. With no choice but to get it checked out before driving home, I took my car here. These guys were a HUGE help in diagnosing the problem for me. They couldn't get me in because I needed my car fixed that day as I was leaving town soon and they were understandably booked up before the holiday weekend, but they did everything they could and pointed me in the right direction. If I lived around town, this would easily be my garage of choice. Thanks again for the help guys

This is the best, most reliable auto shop I've ever been to. At a lot of auto shops, there are long wait times to get your car seen and even longer wait times to get it back. At Konen's, the longest they've had one of my cars is 3 days for a major repair. I never feel pressured to buy something that I don't want to buy. They explain things to me in a way I can understand and will break down any charges for you. They are quick and trustworthy. The loaner car service is amazing and so convenient. I would recommend Konen's to anyone in the area. I live in Cincinnati now and still come back to Kentucky

Konen's is fantastic! I'm new in town, and unfortunately had to have AAA tow my car to Konen's early Thursday morning. We had no idea what was wrong with it, and decided it was best for the professionals to have a look. They were booked up, but still looked at it and had a diagnosis the next day. It ended up being a quick, inexpensive fix, but Konen's also did an incredibly thorough inspection on the rest of my car. We know what to look out for now, and will be grateful customers of Konen's going forward!

I took a pre-owned car to them to get an opinion on what condition it was in before I purchased it. When I picked it up, not only did I have a detailed report, they even put a thank you note on my dash!

Konens Pitt Stop is the best. For years we have used them for all our automotive repairs but this week they really went above and beyond. Our daughter was in town just for the holiday when her "check engine" light came on. It was Friday morning and she had to drive back to Chicago on Sunday. Although they were booked solid for the day they were able to work her in and repair the problem. Thanks again for the great service

Good place. I just gave them my car for a quick check up before driving long distance. No issues while driving once it was checked. They were quite comprehensive in providing the details about everything they came across that required attention, along with what's priority and what's not.
The service was good and timely - in fact, I was back on road ahead of time. Would definitely recommend it to my friends.

A few months ago Hyundai in Alex. KY said I needed front brakes and calipers to the tune of $600.00+. Took in to Konen's. They said calipers were definitely not needed and replaced brakes for 300.00. Brakes are still operating well. I will soon be taking another vehicle to them. P.S. This is not the first time Hyundai tried to fleece me. Beware.

I always find it so difficult to locate a reasonably priced, trustworthy mechanic. I've been ripped off so many times in the past. That's why I absolutely love Konen's Pitt Stop in Bellevue, KY. Right behind the Party Source, this friendly neighborhood mechanic is honest, knowledgeable, and speedy. I can take my car in for anything from an oil change to a blown out radiator (don't ask). I was recommended to Konen's Pitt Stop by a friend, and I hope you all will take up my recommendation to visit Rob for all your car maintenance needs.
