Services
Dr. Lauren Barry is a 2007 veterinarian graduate from the University of Liverpool, England. Her experience includes general practice, emergency and critical care and as a staff anesthesiologist at The University of Liverpool Small Animal hospital. Making the move "across the pond" to join a large corporate veterinary group in 2011 she has settled into life in Orange County CA with her family.
Baker Ranch Animal Hospital is pleased to offer full veterinary service for your dogs and cats. Not only can we perform a full range of surgeries including orthopedic and specialist soft tissue procedures in house, we also offer advanced dental care with state of the art equipment and digital dental radiography.
Please be advised that we require proof of current vaccination against RABIES virus at time of visit if your pet is old enough to have received it. If you do not have proof, or your pet is overdue then a rabies virus vaccine will be administered at your visit at a cost of $25- providing the attending veterinarian determines there are no contraindications to vaccination.
Dental health is an important aspect of your pet's wellbeing. We all know that if you don't brush your own teeth, you will end up needing dental surgery, and the same holds true for dogs and cats. In an ideal world, brushing their teeth would be a simple quick task, but often either your pet does not cooperate or lack of time in a busy family makes this hard.
We know that this visit will be the hardest and most heartbreaking one. It is our goal to make sure that you feel supported and that your pet is comfortable and relaxed at every step of the process.
You will never feel rushed, we have all been through this with our own pets - our exam rooms are comfortable and calm, our doctors will discuss your decision and affirm it is the right time, if needed we will administer a sedative to reduce any anxiety.Our veterinarians will always administer an anesthesia prior to euthanasia so that the passing is humane and smooth.

I plan to make Baker Ranch Animal Hospital our regular vet. We had a very nice experience here. Everyone was very kind and attentive, and I also received a check-in call following our visit to see how my dog was doing after vaccination. The office itself is very modern yet warm and inviting, and there is plenty of parking.
