Services
Dr. Seat grew up in Kansas where he found his love and passion for animals. He received his Bachelors Degree in Animal Science from Kansas State University in 1987. He then went on to receive his Degree in Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University in 1992. After completing his externship at an Oncology clinic in Los Angeles Dr. Seat moved to Orange County in 1993 where he purchased Antonio Animal Hospital.

I have only had two exchanges with the Antonio Animal Hospital - once was to have a cat euthanized and the second was to have another cat who's not doing too well. The compassion of the staff and doctors was pretty wonderful. We've have been animal lovers for decades and have had some great and some not-so-great experiences with different vets. This one is a keeper.

We are so happy we chose Antonio Animal Hospital for our Golden retriever Sunny!
Staff is super friendly, professional and so accommodating of what you need resolved.
Sunny had teared his ACL and needed the surgery. Sunny had TTA surgery performed by Dr. Norman Seat, He was 10/10!! Gave us options for type of surgeries and answered all of our concerns and questions, honestly this probably was one of the best experience we had sitting down and talking to a Vet that actually cares about your pets.
This definitely now will be Sunnys Primary Clinjc !

Dr. Robinson and the staff at Antonio Animal Hospital are the absolute best!! Whenever my dog Blue needs anything, I know where to go as they are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. They always know what to do, and always go the extra step to keep my dog healthy and happy!

The worst animal hospital ever. I called them before I took my rabbit over there and she told me we are seeing rabbits. I took him over and after examination and taking Xray the doctor gave my bunny the wrong medications and his condition got worse after paying more than $700. I called them again and the doctor said we do not have a specialist for rabbits here. She made me very angry and she said I have to pay for another X-ray again to see what's going on and she didn't accept that it was her mistake. Now my rabbit is in 24 hours hospital in critical condition and they told me there

My favorite place for my fur baby's. My little chihuahua had to get emergency surgery and it's a stressful situation but they made the process a lot easier. The staff is always so friendly, I fully recommend this place to anyone, they treat your fur babies just like their own. Thank you for saving my pup!

DON'T GO! THEY RIP YOU OFF! Read all the one star reviews and ask yourself why. Those reviews are honest and real. The fact that the company rebuttable's on here with long ridiculous replies and has zero accountability- PURE DRAMA (speaks for itself). They like to get into it with you, who does that?! A company with poor management - exhausting!! The proof is in the pudding with this place. STAFF IS HORRENDOUS and has a large variety of Karen's running around with below standard customer service that will send you into a tailspin thinking you are on a planet with only the D team

Dr. Norman Seat is the best veterinarian in Orange County! In addition, his staff is absolutely wonderful and they all reflect his truly caring personality. They are top notch! Dr. Seat has been our family veterinarian for the past 15 years, and we wouldn't trust our pets with anyone else! He has our highest recommendation!

The staff is super friendly, polite, answered every single question I had about my cat. The Vet/Surgeon that worked on my cats mouth, was amazing and did an unbelievable job. She (Friede) did a total 180° and is the most playful cat again, and eating without crying!! I thank you all for saving my cats mouth, from the bottom of my heart!!

This is a review long overdue for the compassionate and professional staff and doctors at Antonio Animal Hospital. We have been bringing our fur babies here for four years for emergencies, orthopedic surgeries (THREE LEGS TOTAL), dental issues and regular check ups. Dr. Seat is a skilled surgeon with a heart of gold. Dr. Yamaguchi is also very knowledgeable and attentive to our concerns. The staff are patient and kind even when the four leggeds or the two leggeds are not .
They are truly one in a million and we are so lucky to have found them.

They had a positive COVID test. They didn't notify any customers. I was there recently and found out about the positive COVID test by calling and listening to their VM. I was calling them to set an appointment for my dog. You guys have a personal and moral responsibility to notify customers and you didn't! I have family members with underlying medical conditions! Very disappointed guys. Poorly handled

First let me just say I had a real life nightmare happen this week when my dog got out of the neighbors fence due to the high winds- and he was hit and killed by a car on Antonio pkwy. As I was grieving in the street one of your employees pulled over to double check his pulse and let me know she was right down the street to help. Her name was Chelsea I believe. When we pulled up the doors opened immediately with help because she had told the staff we would be bringing him in. They gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye to our baby. Dr. Yamasaki is the most compassionate and realistic vet. She has really supported our dog and us as a family in our hardest time.
We did not have a vet in town and our dog stopped eating and drinking. We rushed her to Antonio Animal Hospital in the morning and dropped her off, which was difficult for us but required due to COVID.
We were contacted several times by the hospital regard tests and price points. We were ultimately given the diagnosis we feared most - terminal cancer. Dr. Yamasaki answered our question and did not rush us off the phone. She supported our decision to do at home care

We have been bringing our dogs here for 20+ years and never once have been disappointed! This office is so kind and efficient! My dog was due for shots and during this COVID-19 I was worried about how it would all workout getting them done. Easy peasy curbside service!! They came out picked up my pup and delivered him back to my car within 10 minutes! I am so thankful for our neighbor Veterinarian!!

I want to thank you guys so much for being so sweet and kind from the moment we got there until we picked him up. I really appreciate the Dr. explaining everything and glad we made the decision to see what happens. Of course we will see if he gets sick again, hopefully not, but we are so happy with how he's doing now. You guys are a first class service. One thing I also want to recognize is when anyone walks in the door, someone at front desk immediately recognizes them and says we will be right with you.

We have two mini golden doodles that I have been taking to Antonio Animal Hospital since they were 8 weeks old. Dr Robinson and Dr Seat are awesome - they have been great not only in person, but also have answered questions and helped us with the girls through staff calls. The staff is super helpful and has even emailed documents to my pet insurance to ensure claims are completed. I am so glad I found them!

Took my dog here for his first checkup and 12 week vaccine shots and I will certainly be back in the future. We set up an appointment online and received a confirmation phone call the day before. When we arrived the doctor was able to see us quickly and the vaccine shots and stool sample procedure took no more than 10 or so minutes. The hospital even cut the dogs nails as they were getting a little in the long side.
There is plenty of parking in front of the hospital and the staff gave the dog some treats on his way out which he enjoyed very much.

The staff was extremely friendly which I think is very important to the success of a business. The vet that saw us was great and you knew he wasn't trying to just get more money out of you with stuff your pets don't actually need. The price was high but I haven't found a vet yet that isn't. I'll be going back
